He's smart keeping his options open. With Sark's difficulties at USC, there's no guarantee that Tee will be at SC two years from now.

With our WRs difficulty getting off the damn LOS, there is no guarantee CZA will be here next year. :gone:

And I'll drop the mic and leave now while you guys scream profanities at me but I have seen very little production at that position given the talent there.

Reminds me of the old song, "Tell it like it is." Totally agree with you. But the same thing applies with developing OL.

I agree but the Olinemen we have that are highly rated are young. Oline doesn't have nearly the wealth of talent and still I would argue the Oline has done a better job than the WRs this year. We generated nearly 400 yards on the ground week 1 and ran the ball well versus OU in the first half; they sucked in pass protection but OU's blitz is pretty good.

He plays tonight near my hometown. Knox. Catholic is playing Belfry HS. Wish I could make it out there to see him play, but I won't get to.

Belfry isn't some podunk E. Ky program. They are legit, which I'm sure you already know. A TON of coal money pumped into that program via Massey Energy. They are currently ranked #2 in 3A in KY, and if Catholic goes up there and just shows up, they could be in for a rude awakening.

Sidenote, Catholic will be done no favors by the officials either.

I am well aware. I did not go to school there, I went to a 2A school, Shelby Valley. Belfry has won back-to-back 3A state championships in 2013 and 2014. You are right about the coal money being pumped into the program. It has helped them for a long time. They have been a football powerhouse in 3A for a while now.

Just a little more info, they have the winningest high school coach in Kentucky HS football history, Phillip Haywood. He was voted the USA Today Best Coach of the year in 2013, and has written a fantastic book titled "Faith, Family, and Football." He likes to run the ball, A LOT, always has, always will. The running joke is that Belfry only throws the football when they are getting on the bus and when they are getting off the bus. They have made their game all about running it and playing smash mouth football on both sides of the ball, and to their credit that is what they have won state championships with.

I'll probably watch a replay of this game or listen to it on the radio.

Why do people want Tee Martin back here? He went out of his way to insult a player who dons the orange and white. No VFL should ever disrespect one of our players giving their all for Tennessee. He lost my respect a lot regardless of where he coaches. I would think the last national championship winning qb for Tennessee would have a little more pride and still cheer for us, at least a little. Jmo. :hi:

I don't want him because clearly he can't evaluate players. I bet that Georgia DB wouldn't think Hurd is soft or terrible...if he could remember who hit him.
