Still, have to try
I'd place my bet on steroids.
Nope. Name 3 starters on LSU's defense that would start at Bama.
Then name an offensive player other than the RB position.
Have you seen most of their kids before they even hit campus? They are all physically freaks in most cases. Not hard to see that. The D-lineman I posted a thread of that we haven't offered but Bama and Auburn has is an example. He's 6'3.5 275lbs, can windmill dunk in a 10 ft rim. Benches over 315 and squats 575lbs. And he just finished his junior football season. Where's the juice? Or do we need to recruit better players.
Dudes on my high school soccer team took steroids, so yeah it's not uncommon. However, BB says I have no idea so I'm done with the topic.
You all have NO IDEA obviously. Maybe if we had a decent S&C program we would actually see a strong football team again.
And we need to recruit better from the start.
How common is it with gifted athletes at the HS level? Why would they even come close to needing it? Also how could most of these kids afford it? We ran into juice kids when you play spoiled kids with extra money.
Bama has dudes coming in 6'3-6'5 270-280lbs up front. That's out of HS. How hard is it to grow a 18-19 year old body? Especially a much harder S&C program.
This is not subjective. This is a beating minus the scoreboard. I'll stop in this thread now. 🎤 drop.
That proves absolutely nothing other than Bama has the best run defense in the country. Anyone who watched that game knows that it was very much a matchup of near equals.....you know, like their recruiting class rankings and NFL draft classes suggest they have been for years now.
