Weird recruitment = weird career
Nah
Miles was almost fired last year and was rumored to be fired several different times...he decommited.
Miles given another chance... he recommitted.
Miles fired... he's back on the fence.
Nothing weird about it to me.
From EVERYTHING I've heard he's a great kid. He is not a diva like many 5* players. I look for him to jump to Bama because of the stability.
Was told tonight if one assistant in particular from LSU is gone... he's out.
Losing to Vandy will do that. Lol I'm off his train completely. I have zero expectations for Lyles and only look forward to watching Tennessee Football.
Everytime I try to summon some hope for Butch, Vandy comes to mind. But Butch is not a defensive guy. He tried his best to get a elite DC to get over the hump. He seems to have tied Shoops hands somewhat by not hiring his guys to help him do his thing...BUT..was that Butchs decision or would Hart not pony up the money to do the necessary financials to make that happen? Everybody agreed that Shoop was a homerun hire, Butch tried to upgrade his defense. So you have to give him credit for that. It just didn't work out this past year due to injury and apparent dysfunction among the D staff. We did not lose to Vandy due to offensive ineptness, Butches side of the ball, we lost because the defense let the team down.
Jones thought he had a "players led" team but several players weren't on the "team" board, they were on the "me" board. He screwed up the season placing so much on these guys (captains) to keep the team together. They simply couldn't.
That and the injuries, some probably a direct result of the change in S&C programs, are the reason the season failed to live up to expectations IMO.
IF CBJ learned anything it is the head coach HAS to be the leader if you want to win championships. Its a shame he had to learn it this year at this level.
Hurd is a quitter but this kind of crap on social media coming from our fans is stupid and does absolutely no good for our program.
It's pathetic really.
#Voltwitter is an asset not a liability overall.
When we were 5-0 it was gold. No fanbase can compare. With that comes the other side of the spectrum. I don't think it's pathetic but that isn't and won't be the worst said to Hurd. Especially when you include the other fan bases. Just look at what is said to Jalen Tabor. Absolute gold.
If you @ recruits or UT players/former UT players with negativity garbage you are a complete loser and a coward.
