It's pathetic that I asked him why he would still wear his jersey and have a pic of the place where he quit and no longer wanted to be a part of the program or team? I am a UT grad and donor and have a right to ask him that question... easy with the zingers... just because some folks gave you praise last week, don't act like you are the grand poo-bah here...

This is like going to a restaurant and being a d*ck to the waitress, but think its okay because you're paying for a meal. It says more about you than it does the one you're harassing, and it isn't saying good things.

Don't really see the problem with tweeting that to Jalen. I would never do it myself, but fans (short for fanatics) do crazy things and are passionate about their teams. I think it comes off a little like a d-bag sure, but I also think Jalen left UT as one of the biggest d-bags in history, well behind Joey Fresh.

It's not really a big deal. I think the bigger deal is the death threats, the wishes of career threatening injuries, the mean spirited stuff like that.

This and S & C killed a great season. That is on the head man because he made those decisions. They are correctable and growing in game as well. Hope we get there. Will be better for all if we do.

Scuttlebutt on the street is that Lawson was too much of a 'hard ass' and the kids wanted a S&C coach that was more player friendly. Well, we saw the results.

Pretty childish and accomplishes nothing positive for fans, the team, or Jalen. But that's just my opinion.

A lot of the same people deploring the Lawson move were on this same board calling for a change after Gaulden,Jackson,Sanders and even Maggitt got injured last year. Either that or complaints about the practices being too intense and contributing to the body count LAST SEASON. Then you hear that the reduced impact practices contributed to the players getting injured due to lack of preparation THIS SEASON...need someone else to keep track of all this. :blink:

Actually, Miller was one of the players involved in Hostess gate under Kiffy. I believe that he was one of the EE that Special Ed tried to get to not go to class. I could be wrong, but I think that I recall that. I like Corey Miller on twitter most of the time. I do agree that calling Butch "Lyle" is meant to be disrespectful and it is a little surprising coming from him.

I don't buy the S&C being the cause of all the injuries. Studied on a case by case basis, most if not all the injuries had nothing to do with them that I can tell. Maybe KMacs? I think not ponying up to hire Shoops guys had WA more to do with struggles. There is no scapegoat for the injury plague.

So all of us can spew useless nonsense and Junior High (or in this boys case middle school) B.S. It's not like we actually enjoy the hard work that Fingers, Glitchen, and the rest provide us with to enjoy our team. Dangit Mc Gill if you can't see the value in insulting world class players and nicknaming SEC coaches then you just don't get it! Mabey you need to go to the adult table where football discussions are welcome! God I wish we could just talk about the vols on here!
