What happened with Buck? He delivered Malone so I assume it's something since then?

I just remembered something happened awhile back and d1conley got sour a little on this coaching staff. I really think it has something to do with Thigpen and some hope our new DC could help. The one concern may be how long he will actually be our DC. Could be moving up the ladder with the success we all hope he has this year.

If we have the year we all hope for and Shoop does take the next step, recruits shouldn't worry in the least.

We will get someone just as good to replace him in that scenario.

I'm here to clarify all the stupid rumors of dislike among the staff and our organization. 1. We owe no school in particular anything. 2. We do not steer kids in any direction. 3. Our organization has help UT more than any of you on this board offering criticism. 4. If anyone questions our reputation or who we will help or where the vast majority of our top recruits hv gone think: Eric Gordon, James Stone, Tiny Richardson, Jalen Reaves-Maybin, Josh Malone, Mike Sawyers, Justin Martin, Vincent Perry, Jack Jones, Kyle Phillips, we helped with Barnett, Richmond, and Jashon. So don't ever question our background with UT. 5. Its on the coaches and the families to make a bond and make decisions on where a player goes and plays. 5. You can put this on record many of the recruits we train and their family read the ignorance some of you are posting about the kids and us, whch is why I am here tonight. Some of you social media, mesaage board no it alls should really chill. Today's fan is really ridiculous and don't realize hiw ignorant you are. You insult people you have no knowledge of and make assumptions about families/kids you don't know and it hurts the coaches/school you claim to love. The fools hv done it already with 1 major recruit and are headed that wa again. Take heed to what I say because its all 100% truth.

Hopefully Stevens is a NSD commitment. The longer he puts things off, the better for us IMO. Especially once we get some more of the instate kids on board.

D1 I think most on here were curious if there was a rift between Npa and Ut.I know you guys have helped UT.But ultimately it is the kid and his family's decision.While most of us here only see one color. (Orange).Some kids want or fit another school better.Appreciate the info and insight you bring.Don't let people get to you on here. Most are speculating and mean no harm.But I agree the recruits and parents do read this board.

Justin Martin thread back in September 2.0.

If you get on a message board and go back to posts in the past where rumors were running (rumors on a message board - who knew) then that was the speculation. Of course, we all should just bow down to you and not ever post questions or discuss things about recruiting since we are just stupid fans who give our money and put butts in the seats. We don't drive anything and thus are not important.

Maybe it's just me, but I usually don't put too much stock in programs like De's "delivering" players to schools. Just doesn't sound like smart business (and that's what they are, a business).

With Jacoby I honestly just get the vibe that he's never had too much connection to the state or it's schools and he's more interested in the schools/coaches that have more recently delivered players into high rounds of the draft.

As a UT fan, I'm not happy about that honestly. But you can't fault the kid acting in what he sees as his best interests.

Hopefully he waits until signing day and we're able to parlay a successful 2016 season and a bunch of NFL draft prospects into him deciding Knoxville is in his best interest.

I don't think NPA delivers anyone. They are actually a well run organization that helps kids. However, commenting on rumors are part of a message board regardless of the team or the sport. I have never heard CBJ saying some guy on a board who like Emory Jones better than TL made TL not feel the love. We are not that important.

If a kid is hurt by a message board post, he better realize he's about to be criticized 15x harder when he gets to college.

JacketVol i have no reason to lie about parents calling and saying go check out the dumb bs being put on Volnation. It's a new day my friend kids and their families watch msg boards and the things people post and say can cause the hard work that HC and their staffs put in to gain ground and try to turn corners with in their relationships during recruiting. It is more susceptible to happen on a free message board. It might not be you but it goes as far as ppl questioning the integrity of parents, kids, and honest organizations. CBJ nor the University of Tennessee needs these burdens of foolery. I honestly think posters should think what if this was my child before posting slander, dumb comments, or rumors.

For the record I've criticized 2 coaches and I've also made that known to them and on the Swain Event, Mahoney and Azzani are awful. CBJ has always been in great graces with me as most of the staff. There was an issue with a recruit, his mom, and Thigpen but thats been a dead horse. Also while everyone was mad at Janzeck about the defense losing OK, Fla, etc i carefully explained it was the offensive staff ho lacked production down the stretch causing the defense to play wayyyyyyyy too many snaps. I love UT but personally I'd never steer a kid anyway. I don't hv to attend classes, practice, eat, sleep, and live on a college campus. So its no what's best for me but them. Whether its Jacoby or Jaken Ramsey or Tiny Richardson their comfortability is most important not me as a fan or trainer.

All is well stop believing the hogwash you read on msg boards. We have too many kids on the UT roster to not want well for the program. Its also where Buck's degree is from. That old issue has been water under the bridge.

A) Mahoney is god-awful. How he's employed at Tennessee is beyond me.

B) Anyone can make a username and say anything they want. Kids should consider that there are without a doubt Georgia, Florida, Bama, etc. fans on here posing as Vol fans to bring negativity in all forms. I'd mod this board a little heavier than it is, like many sites do, but that's Freak's decision.

I think most can agree on this. Mahoney is getting a pass because DeBoard is basically coaching the OL too. But CZA leaves A LOT to be desired.
