He's never been serious about us. Pretty much has been LSU for awhile. Same with Maliek Gray (not serious). I know he has USC as his leader but can almost guarantee he ends up at FSU.

2 of the top recruits for '17 from Tn will be heading elsewhere.

Honestly UT will be fine and I highly doubt Maliek will be at either USC or FSU nor do I think UT has to take him. On Jacoby it was a going home thing and he always had a love for LSU since he is from there.

The only reason he doesn't go to FSU will be because FSU no longer wants him.

He's never lived in Louisiana. His parents are from there, he has family there and he's visited there a lot.

It's a fact and he's very right. That plus he's always loved LSU and his family is there. Easy decision. Not to mention LSU is DBU right now and makes it very easy for him.

Is he a DB at the next level (safety I presume)? I wondered if he was someone they tried to put 30 lbs on and line up at OLB if he stayed on the defensive side of the ball.

Yes he's going in as a S and i highly doubt he'd move down being LSU recruits natural LBs

Jacoby was amazing last night 4 catches 170 yards 2 touchdowns on offense and 5 tackles 2 TFL was his stat line at halftime last night
