'17' TN ATH Tee Higgins (Clemson commit)

I guess the guys that actually played are watching a different game too. I'll take their word over a message board contrarian.

Can you link to the quote you are talking about. Somehow i don't think you have anybody saying there used to be more hits over the middle. Hell, they throw twice as much now. Seems like an impossibility that there used to be more hits over the middle.

Lol. Either you are being willfully ignorant or don't listen to many pre game shows. This has been discussed repeatedly over the last decade. What do you want me to link 10 years of pre game shows and player interviews? They throw twice as much now because WRs aren't as likely to be knocked out and put out of the game or worse. You seem like the hipster guys in college that like to argue about everything but have experienced or understand very little.

Here's your links you seemingly treasure. Took me making a 5 second google search and confirms that your argument is lazy seeing as though you couldn't do this yourself. Does this make you rethink your position? or you going to comeback with another corny retort? For the record, these are both rhetorical questions as I'm not looking for an actual answer.

TO not being in yet is crazy to me....

Letting Marvin Harrison in front of him could be argued numbers wise. "Ah hell! Go ahead and put Jerry Jones in" was an effu for this latest go round. If Terrell doesn't flap his gums over Harrison's induction, he's preparing a tantalizingly uncomfortable acceptance speech right now.

I just want one quote that there are fewer hits over the middle. It's that simple.

I want a million dollars. What's your point? My job is not to convince you of anything. I don't care what you believe. I just know anyone that has played and understands the game of football on the most fundamental level agrees with my sentiment and not yours.

I'd like a quote from a former player or former anything that says "its a lot tougher now then when I did it."

Dude, you don't even know what I'm saying.

I said that AJ Green does have to worry about getting hit and you flipped out about it. You're talking about how physical the game is and all these other things, but the fact of the matter is guys still get hit over the middle and it's still dangerous.

Hey AJ, you don't have to worry about getting hit because we have these new rules:

It's weird to me that people would actually challenge that football is less physical now.

I mean, pull up a game from a decade ago and then watch one from last season.

Use your brains and eyes. Why do we have to have a link or some stats to make something more true? Just open your 👀.

Who said it's not less physical now than 10 years ago?

The comparison was 30 years ago, and even then I didn't conclude anything. I'm not sure which is more physical. There are many changes to the sport to consider.

30 years ago the athletes weren't as big, fast, strong.

10 years ago they were just as big, fast, strong.

Now it is becoming way less violent. Two hand touch is just around the corner iyam.

Meh idk. I think there were more physical hits in the past. The change is the size and speed of the players making those hits now days. JMO though.
