The UT backed camp organization supposedly being stood up in middle Tennessee would point to a different conclusion. It may not be Buck specifically but possibly some folks within the organization.

Does anyone have more insight into why there's been rumors that certain people in NPA are actively steering recruits away from UT? Is it related to one incident, or has this been brewing for awhile?

It just amazes me that UT gets handicapped in their own state by organizations like this.

It was discussed at length between LWS and other posters on 247. LWS seemed pretty adamant that Buck and NPA weren't steering kids away from UT. He asked for examples, and no one really gave anything of any plausible detail.

The discussion eventually transitioned into one about Thigpen in which LWS did note that Thigpen has messed up in recruiting before in the area (occurring some time ago), but I believe that has also been discussed in length here.

NPA held a camp and brought in everyone but UT. Hard time believing that was by accident or that it was seen as an ok thing for UT.

We have an actual poster who is associated with NPA who openly disses UT on this board and his identity is readily known. Its obvious theyre steering kids away.

This kid played with Hurd at some point during high school. I'm sure hurd bad mouthed the program to him

So the out of state school can come in last minute and flip him, but the in-state school can't? Par for the course. NPA and some of their spokesmen seem to be doing a whammy on us.
