I'm not overly concerned with us having the number one class necessarily, but it is great to be in the discussion. And winning big this year will put us right there in my opinion.

If we win the East, make it to Atlanta, and beat Alabama or LSU for the SEC championship, you best believe we'll land a top 5 class. Maybe even #1 overall.

Trey Smith is a great player, but he isn't even the best player in the state. ESPN doing ridiculous things again.

Agree, Higgins is number one in the state, and should be top 10 in the country. Either way, we have to keep Trey in Tennessee. Need all the big time OL we can get.

But just remember Dre was from Jackson and hopefully that doesn't have any negative impact on us getting Trey

Doesn't really matter who's the best in-state player-- Trey or Tee-- if we land them both. So let's do that.

tOSU will have to really flat line this year for them not to finish #1. They have a chance to beat out USC and Bama all time class record if they continue at this rate. They lead for 3-4 (5*)in the composite ranking and Top 2 for another half dozen 4*. Their lone 3* is a kid they are projecting at P. Urbz has that train rolling right now.

Saw on an ESPN recruiting special today they were talking about top recruits and their visits. I saw Mr. Smith in a Clemson jersey dabbin' with Dabo on one of his visits. I was like NOOOOOOO!!!!

True...just getting weary of all the battles we MUST win. We have a core of pretty damn good athletes. Some of the recruits we HAD to land aren't among them. :)

With who we are in on, I expect a top 5 class

If we ball out this year, who knows

Even though I think they have him overrated, it still would be good publicity if we could land the #1 overall player due to ESPN being the only station that really talks recruiting.

Jackson's not that small. And they went to different schools. Plus, people that want to believe Drae wouldn't know which story to believe.
