Well when I met him I didn't wanna be all creepy fan boy so I didn't beg him to come to Tennessee or anything like that. I just quickly chatted about how he was and what not. Of course I said Tennessee could really use him. As we ended the conversation I turned to walk away and the last thing he said to me was "oh yea, go Vols." I turned to look back at him and he was smiling ear to ear. Now he said that without me even really saying much about coming to Tennessee. Does that mean he has as his leaders? Maybe, maybe not. But he didn't say Go Irish or Roll Tide.

How did I make it sound like I knew him? I said I talked to him. Reading comprehension isn't your forte huh? And I wasn't a gushing fan boy like some on here would be. I don't push and prod 17 year old kids for information.

As for camp during the week, we expect several players to be in during the week leading up to Tennessee's lineman camp. That camp should feature top talent from the Jackson area, like Trey Smith, Elijah Harris and Greg Emerson as well as Knoxville's Cade Mays. Latrell Bumphus could also attend the event.

Shortly after the ban on satellite camps was revoked, SEC schools quickly decided if they can’t stop them they’d better embrace them. There may be no better example of this than what Tennessee is planning for its June 8 Elite Lineman satellite camp at University School of Jackson in Jackson, Tenn.

In the past, landing a key recruit was often dependent on schools getting prospect to their campus and showing them what only they could offer him. Tennessee has decided to flip that around with this camp, bringing all their staff and former players to showcase just how bad they want to sign offensive lineman Trey Smith – who just so happens to play for University School of Jackson.

Trey Smith is an absolute can't miss prospect. Really can't blame the staff going all in on him to hold off Bama.
