It really is that simple. Eze is ranked 202 and Tucker is rated 697. It would be crazy to not take Eze.
It's not that simple.
Following the Ross and Moore threads tell a different story.
Moore is #250. Ross is #370.
It appears Moore won't get a green light from UT unless Ross says no. And he may not at all even if Ross chooses UNC.
Butch probably isn't using Rivals or 247 as his evaluation tool.
I am sure Butch does not go by those sites but I would be hard pressed to just write off the rankings completely. Especially when there is a huge difference in 2 recruits. The Moore situation is interesting though.
Nope, just using common sense, higher rated prospect wants in, lower rated prospect finds new home, it's really a basic formula.
Please go and look up some of the rankings from 2007-2011. You'll find out pretty quickly this sites have little clue on who will be good and who won't.
If you think individual player recruiting rankings tell you whether one player is better than another then you're a fool. History tells us they are typically very wrong.
You're new to recruiting so it's all good, but you're off the mark. Why Tucker? Why not Locklear?
If you go by the dumbass ranking sites only then you're gonna have a bad time. The coaches wouldn't have taken ANY OL over Venzell Boulware a few years ago and he wasn't "highly ranked."
