Similar type of player. Tweener that is not really a RB and not really a WR. Lacks ideal size. Quicker rather than fast. Yes, similar. Hayden probably just slightly more talented version of the same type of player. Hayden rankings and Opening performance don't quite match up to his recruitment, does it? UT and USCe won't take commitment.
Hayden>>>Young
lol and it's not even close. Young was what, 5'8 170 as a senior? Kid has been leaning Arkansas for a while now so the USCe thing means literally nothing and definitely can't be verified...so it's irrelevant. UT passed cuz we got Akers/Chandler as higher priorities. I'm not convinced the kid from LA signs with us.
I'm not sure Coleman is better than Hayden.Every scholarship RB we have is better tham him. Chandler and Akers are better. So is Coleman.
The kid has been able to go to camps and do pretty well. But imo he is not a top 250 player.
He is a Kentucky, Arkansas, Mizzou type of recruit. And not someone high on their board at that.
They just had a piece on him on channel 3 news here in Memphis. He and his dad both interviewed about his upcoming decision.
Felt kinda bad for the kid...
He talked about choosing from the schools that "want" him.
Should be a happy time for him, there were no smiles.
Good luck Chase, I'll be rooting for you.

He's an in-state legacy rated higher than some of the 3* players in this class and he's apparently not even a borderline take. That's hard for a kid... and hard for his dad who wanted to see his son play for his alma mater. I'm not saying the coaches are wrong; it's just one of those unfortunate situations that makes you wish it could have turned out better for the Haydens.
Not a bad consolation prize to be choosing between Arky and OK St IMO. Both good places for RBs. He wants to play RB and we aren't sure that's his postion in our offense. Can't blame either side
