'17 TN RB/CB Chase Hayden (Arkansas commit)

Definitely could see all 3 coming

Already feel good about Hayden. chandler we are pushing very hard. Akers has us in his top group and some believe we lead

All 3 backs have different styles. Hayden could be a beast slot or even CB too

I was about to say CB for him.
- great basketball player. Hes fluid and explosive.
- 37 inch vertical!
- physical from playing RB
- Can catch
- good height 5'11".

and hes got good speed.

Yeah he can help us. We should be after him harder imo

Chase cm out with a top 5 in abc order

Illinois? Seriously? Must be on his list out of pity.

Sleeping program who could perennially be a leader in their division. However, yes, it's not a great football school. Lovie will get some peanut butter for a bit but if he doesn't win that will fade.

Hurd = great. The other two, not so much.

they were all high school RBs that could have gone anywhere and we got all of them. And now we have proven success at the run game to sell, as well as playing time and a good o-line.

bottom line taking three doesn't bother me because you never know what could happen.

Pulling Akers, Hayden, and Chandler all in one class would be quite a coup. And as "me" centered as many millennials are it's unlikely. However it could happen.
It could happen because we have something Very valuable to offer 17' RBs.....immediate playing time.
We fans will hate to lose them, but our current RB tandem is heading to the League after this season. Hurd and Kamara have given their all for us. I hope they make gazillons in the NFL and play there for many happy years.
So after this upcoming season...there will be game reps to had immediately at UT. Kelly will be competitive, Young might make some noise, and Sparks will be there too. But Akers and Chandler produce at a higher level than any of them except possibly Kelly. Hayden is a fine receiver.....I expect that's where he'll play.
We pulled Dormady, Jennings, and Jones all in the same yr, so anything can happen.

How come everyone keeps forgetting CFA?

This kid needs to be a Vol, Butch needs to gain his commitment now and keep him until NSD! 😀

Chase Hayden is listed as a 4 star on rivals. Why is everyone saying he's not highly rated?

I left CFA out of my above post for two reasons. First, we're talking landing new recruits, and CFA is a sealed signee. Second, CFA; is a welcome addition to the Family. But up to now, he hasn't sweat a drop in the gym or on the field. Let's get him in, get him involved in the work/study routine; then we'll know more about CFA. He's a good looking back though.
