'17 VA DE Elijah Conliffe (Florida commit)

If we can't get Conliffe or Ray then we have to hope for Sterling even though he appears to be leaning towards USCe. That would leave us probably with getting another WR like Pouncey, Smith or somebody else.

I hate to say it but I think Pouncey will be our last commit

Troll.... Just stating the facts. I don't think they banned members for stating the truth.

What makes you a troll is no posts for over two months, only to suddenly reappear just to stir the pot. You don't even try to be respectful. Your trolling is blatant. Hopefully some mod recognizes your act and permabans you.

He wasn't ready to commit a week ago, after being recruited for how many years?

Yet, mattresses are being lit now because we have no room. Listen... He was given an ultimatum a week before NSD and declined. If he was not going to be a Vol then, what magic did you expect to transpire till NSD?

The thing with this is some kids want that moment, and want to wait and make a final decision on or the night before signing day. I was told if he wants in, he's in. What some coaches have to realize is you can't force a kids hand

You can if you have others on the board that are ready to commit and you're willing to take them over the guy that wants to wait. Which I think is what exactly happened here. I think the only recruit they were willing wait on was Ray.

It's a numbers game. The more guys on campus, the more hits on recruiting evals. I don't agree with it though.

I get that. But his first class he didn't sign just to sign. I'm cool with attrition and all but sometimes it's better to hold a spot rather than reach on a 3* kid you will likely recruit over before he ever steps on the field for a meaningful snap.
