But how many other places are in UT's spot right now. It's hard to understand what I am writing here but think a little more intently about it happening somewhere else and here you already have a ready made lawsuit you can join. Not difficult to see for example that UT and VT or Georgia can handle things a little differently.

It's happening everywhere. Take this story, for example This kid and a girl he was dating both swore that the sex they had was consenual. He was still suspended from school and won't be reinstated because of a school investigation gone awry.

What other school in the SEC is dealing with anything as big as this UT LAWSUIT right now? I agree it is happening everywhere but who besides UT in the SEC is dealing with a lawsuit that is being mentioned every time a story on ESPN or SEC network does a UT story. If we win, I still feel recruiting will take care of itself.

Vandy and Florida. Mississippi State. Each school have their issues.

VANDY has had 22-2 compared to UT on sexual assaults. One who has been convicted and another one who appears will be of not only rape but extra weird stuff and videos but no lawsuit and trial happens then it is news then forgotten. This lawsuit brought up all the time because lawyers trying to get paid and has put a big spotlight when trouble occurs with a she said situation even with no arrest. People think Vandy had two outliers and were true. You don't hear about a rape culture at Vandy with players being suspended even if no charges. That is what could scare parents. Don't do anything and still get booted. If they actually do get arrested for rape with evidence then they should expect punishment.

UT is fighting a different battle that is more difficult than the schools you mentioned. But if UT CAVES, those schools day is coming.

Outside the state of TN, this lawsuit is not leading news. Do a google search on university of Tennessee or Tennessee Volunteers. The lawsuit is not even on the main page.

Regardless of Google, Fort and Larry have said it is having a negative impact so and I was just showing an example of how it could be used in a different light.

While Tennessee may be in the spotlight about this, the whole football world is under the microscope when it comes to domestic violence. Like you said, all it takes is one jealous, or heartbroken exgirlfriend and its their word against yours and in the meantime the young man's life is turned upside down

Not a member of VQ, but I asked people who have a VQ membership and who seem so know a lot of times before a recruit commits. Seems like this one is coming down to it,and this is no surprise considering VT is his home state school. However throughout the recruiting process for Crosby he has named the leader tennessee multiple times, and he has not once named VT the leader. Just because his recruitment has gotten closer doesn't mean his leader has changed IMO. I and the others I have talked see it as about 60-40 to 65-35 favoring that he commits to the vols. Now could be wrong, but I'm fairly confident here with us being named a leader for his recruitment multiple times. Hope this helps.

You see it because you are sensitive to it. Just like when you buy a car you suddenly start seeing that same car everywhere. Its news cycles and nowadays they are so short they almost bend back on themselves. It is not a dark cloud hanging over us, more like a passing shower.

When you really get down to it, what does the lawsuit have to do with the football program? The University is being sued. What are they telling recruits the possible punishment will be? Again, how does that affect a recruit?

Negative culture within the university and program that does not take sexual assault seriously. That is what is being sold against us. Also, speculation of cover ups, Butch losing his job over it.... Just imagine the worst that could be dreamed up, and that is being espoused as truth by rival coaches

Also, his mother looks to be moving back to Texas after he graduates HS. From TX, she could travel/see a number of his games with us versus VT.

Show me a program that is squeaky clean. There are issues at every school. I don't understand why people act like UT is the ONLY school in the country dealing with this. This is a culture problem, not a TN problem.
