Good position....that's PFort... for UT commit.

Not to be a jack but I don't see how anyone can take those quotes to be positive for UT. I would love to be wrong but it seems like this is a slam dunk for Clemson unless we can get him back on campus in July (always have a chance when you have a visit).

He didn't visit for OCD although Crosby made the trip. He presumably could have tagged along w/ his friend, unless he had a conflict (and no conflict has been indicated by 247/VQ). His only visit that is definitely set before his announcement is to Clemson. Combine those fact with the talk on the Clemson site that they gained the upper hand and you've got a lot of circumstantial evidence that points to CU.

Again, I'd love to be wrong here but I'd put my chips on Clemson for this announcement unless he shows up on campus again beforehand. Then again, I wouldn't have put the odds in our favor on Crosby picking us over VT heading into the announcement so hopefully I go 0-2 with VA DL.

Cookout at Clemson July 22/23. He announces on Aug 6. Doesn't look good if we can't get him to Knoxville between those two dates.

I want Williams, but we are also in good shape with Allen, Butler, and Concliffe. It won't be the end of the world.

Ever since I saw him gush over the Vols in an interview, I've been convinced this kid is a Vol. Considering both our starters at DE are gone after this year, IMO Williams is very important.

While I'm not worried about the state of our recruiting overall, Clemson edging us in these individual battles is starting to grind my gears. :angry:

Amazes me how so many people take limited information and form these takes. I'm glad our staff doesn't have the same mentality as this beaten down fan base.

I've always considered this a VT and Tennessee battle just from how he acts on Twitter and stuff. I was honestly surprised Clemson was in his top 3 over Virginia. I think he's a Vol. No insider status. Just my feeling.

I was leaning VT for Williams. Just the vibe I got from what I'd read of late.
