We may offer the kid soon. We just offered another DE out of AL yesterday. I have no idea how the staff goes about finding guys in terms of the order in which they do it. Maybe they hadn't analyzed everything from AL yet?

Moreover, your comment about being late on offering a lot of guys is definitely debatable. I actually think we are early more often than we are late.

Miller sounds awesome and maybe he'll get a Vol offer but if he doesn't and we land the 3 instate DT's I won't be mad.

Maybe the staff just doesn't like him as a fit? If they know about him and have for months, I just can't rationalize another reason not to offer him.

It could be a character issue. There are so many more things that go into it than him being an elite prospect. Jalen Hurd comes to mind.

No damn character issues.... WTF are you talking about now. How's he got character issues and he literally just became a 4 star like overnight. Kid works extremely hard and doesn't get in trouble at all.

The only thing I can assume is that the staff doesn't want to compete in Bama or someone on staff doesn't think he's a fit

Tennessee will be at the Samford mega football camp this summer....which will have hundreds of prospects at...and living in the bham area I'll try and find out about this kid I know of a coach on his high school staff

Nothing to find out. Everyone else offered besides us. He'll ball wherever he goes. I hope he stays in the SEC personally. 😎😎😎😎😎

You really should not speculate when you know nothing about the situation. We have a pretty well known poster pumping up his guy, as he should, and I completely believe he is a good kid. What is the basis for your rife speculation?

BS that's what it is..... Saying he's equal to other prospects in your eyes is fine. Trying to dog his character is another thing. That's BS.....

Okay... So why didn't they offer? Anything that is said us speculation, including your assessment that you believe he is a good kid. It wasn't an assault on the kids character. It was clearly speculative. This is the most butt chapped thread o have ever seen. What a bunch of crybaby especially, coach isn't doing what I want. There is a year left to recruit and offer this kid. Stop Whining that it isn't happening on your schedule.

Yes, I think we should offer. My opinion does not matter at all. If we don't offer, it will take me about 13 seconds to get over it. It is one thing to say he's not a good fit, or that we have other priorities. All of those are understandable and possible. But, if you question his character based upon the fact that we have not offered, then you should be questioning a helluva lot more kids' character. That is going too far without having any evidence to support it. I don't get too bent out of shape about any recruit because I cannot see the future. I don't know how anyone is going to work out and I do trust our coaches to make good evaluations. So, my advice to you, since you are so quick to give it to me, is for you to learn the difference between insulting a kid and stating an opinion. It might do you some good.

I want him to end up as the best D-lineman in the SEC. Has a lot of work to do but has all the ability to do so. Kid is working like crazy this offseason.
