'18 CA QB Adrian Martinez

McBride will not be the QB. Don’t know why y’all keep bringing him up.

McBride is universally loved because he was used as ammo to hate Butch more after he burned his redshirt. He was an average recruit brought in to shore up the QB for exactly the situation that happened: all starters go down with injuries and no one else can throw the ball.

Ability to get the ball out quickly.

We all know QD wasn't great but we also know he was an awful fit for that offense. He at least was decisive enough to avoid getting sacked likes JD did.

I wouldn't bet a lot on it but I think it's a better fit for him.

Actually recall numerous times where Dormady held the ball too long. One being a strip-sack.

Tennessee’s staff was comfortable with Martinez being in this class. They flew all the way out to California for a reason. But in the end, Martinez and his family simply felt Nebraska was a better fit.

Late last night, Martinez called Pruitt personally to thank him for the opportunity and visit but that he was going in another direction. Tennessee wasn’t really surprised, said Ok and moved on too.

It's a smart move.

Martinez would rather be featured in a Scott Frost offense - known to work explosively - than a less-than-realized USC/CSU hybrid offense that hasn't even yet formed.

Most QBs would. UT's offense is a hard sell right now.
