Well Griddie, it was Hunter Johnson 1st. He really was in love with us for a while. Then it was Lawrence who also was all over us. Man, I'd love to have Lawrence though. I know our OL will be better next year and would provide him with some time to get rid of the ball. Hopefully, QD and JG get it together under Helton's tutelage and someone throw's for+3500 yds.

Nothing is official here yet, but sources say that quarterback Adrian Martinez reopened his recruitment last night. Nebraska coaches Scott Frost and Frank Verducci went in-home with the 4-star quarterback Tuesday. Martinez has removed all mentions of Tennessee from his social media bios this morning.

I will say that I respect the heck out of this kid. He didn't decommit the second Butch was fired like some. He waited to give the new staff a chance and is apparently thinking he would have more success somewhere else. I can't fault a kid for that.

I do think we keep Penix and shore up on other positions. We have QD, JG, Will the Thrill and Penix. That should get us through the year. Need a reboot at many other positions, save those spots

Martinez is doing what he thinks is right for him. He's a true DT that has seen the Frost O enough to know it fits well. He's seen the USC O enough to know it is not it for him. Wish him well. Not sure, but this may be a blessing in disguise for us.
