'18 CA QB Adrian Martinez

U love to say that and couldn't wait to say Boom, in the McClay thread. Are u a Vol fan? U seem like one in the BB forum, but if u can say, "I told u so" or "he gone" in the RF, u are the 1st to do it. Do u just want to get a reaction or what? I don't understand it. But, whatever, to each his own. I got 5 on it, Martinez signs with Tennessee

"He gone" is a joke. I assumed everyone knew that.

As far as McClay, a questionable take that worked out in the end

He's equally insufferable in the bball forum.

I know it can be a joke. But with the way, u jumped on it and the McClay thread, it just seemed like u enjoyed it a little too much. But, I have been known to jump to conclusions. So, my bad.

Tell me, where upon your fandom spectrum do these quotes fall? Just shy of "blind homerish optimism"? Or is it a weee bit closer to negavol?

Well if he had a girlfriend at Pellissipi State and grandparents that live in Soddy Daisy I'd guess they fall closer to the prior.

It's funny how anything less than blind homerish optimism is being a negavol. Carry on

We see an enthusiastic recruit who doesn't act like he wants to leave, every visit and you call that "blind". You read an article by a biased USC writer and consider that SIGHT.

You all tend to forget he was committed somewhere else before he committed here. Plus he's from right down the road, has a gf nearby and family in the area. Excuse my use of deductive reasoning. I gave an opinion. Sorry I rocked the boat.

Something tells me that having you, a guy who has called himself a Negavol repeatedly, a guy who boasted about the level of of his negativity in the 'proud to be a Negavol' thread, support him, isn't really helpful.

It's like having David Duke endorse your "why you calling me a racist?" post :)

You take yourself too seriously...we didn't feel a thing. :) All those factors were there when he committed to us. Recruiting is rough on the easily frightened.

I agree (mostly). I do think he'll end up being a Vol though. But somebody 100% committed doesn't give that interview, regardless of the leading questions. This coming from a posivol.

In an ideal scenario the QB is supposed to be the alpha of the class who commits early and then peer recruits those around him. Obviously there are notable exceptions (Josh Dobbs). But if I'm USC, I'm not sure how I would feel about a QB who was a two time de-committee.

Probably feel fine, as long as he is committed to them
