If coaches can just drop a committed kid anytime like ours do then IMO these kids have to take their visits and cover their bases in case they are cut loose late as happens EVERY year with this staff.

Even Martinez said coaches do it and players do it. Called it a game IIRC. Not saying it's right or wrong, but it is a fact of recruiting. Can't say with certainty, but I don't see coaches bailing on kids on signing day. I can recall UT having kids flip on signing day. It's why I agree with an early signing period. Think they picked the wrong date tho.

What makes you think Alabama is having a down recruiting year? It's June 24th. By the time signing day gets here, I feel pretty certain that they will be easily in the top 5.

Yes, that would be the case, if he were a minimally sought-after 3*. But, he isn't, he is a highly sought-after top 300 recruit on every single recruiting site there is. I don't think they're cutting him loose, and I'm pretty sure AM knows that.

Kid is a stud right up there with Fields, Lawrence, Emory Jones talents. Sucks to watch fields blow up but a healthy Martinez would have lit up these camps too. Kid is going to be special here.
