He was on the radio with Will West today and he sounds like he’s pretty solid to UT. Very well spoken and didn’t sound like someone saying just what people wanted to hear. He sounded excited about UT’s future.

Maybe he is going to be what Thaj Boyd should've been for us.

Yes, a rare thing these days.

I also think there's a practical side to it as well. There will likely only be two scholarship QBs on campus after spring-ball and as of right now, neither have the job locked down going into next year. JG has showed some promise, but nothing a big time QB recruit should be awed by. It's a great opportunity for a guy like Martinez or Penix.

Really, I’m committed to Tennessee for a reason. If it was just solely on the coaches, I wouldn’t be committed at all. There’s more there for me. I feel like I’m invested in the program already, and I want to see that through. And for right now I feel like it’s a good fit for me.
