Hope we can refocus on him being a vol, this is the type of kid we need who is committed to his state school, good coaches will play to their players strengths.... SIGN this kid Pruitt
Or its following the previous coachs penchant for signing known injury cases and hoping for the best. The goodwill from Hall,Brooks and Butcher resulted in what, exactly?
I don't disagree but Brooks did play this year when called upon.
I agree I guess and I guess for the future of our program it is a business decision but hate it for the kid and hope if we dont sign him he gets an opportunity somewhere that he wont make us regret not taking him!
Look how bleak a situation it was for that to happen. After practically four years of inactivity and two on scholarship. That scholarship goes to a relatively healthy 3 star and maybe theres more bang for the buck in those games. I was always gung ho about honoring scholarships for injured players. Pruitt should be able to make his own policy. His risk.
If we're not planning on signing him, we should tell him and allow him to find a school that fits.
Tough spot for Pruitt and the new staff to be in. What if he really doesnt fit the scheme we will be running?
If he has not heard from TN coaches at all, you would think multiple schools would be swooping in to gain his commitment. As quiet as it is on that front, do other schools have concerns about his health?
Looks to be the case, Parker at 247 just wrote an article talking about possible commits/decommits - and he alluded that many schools have concerns about his knees.
FWIW he says Flint will end up at WKY or Indiana
