'18 FL CB Jordan Miner

Looks like we still have 9 days to tweet him into changing his mind.
He better like fat, feminazi, white chicks or like dudes.

PSU is like 43 to 57 percent girl to guy ratio with most of the girls being chunky liberals. At least they keep you warm in the winter though.

Either school would be great for football but for a social life, PSU is a sausage party and again a lot of the chicks there are nuttbags.

good start...:eek:lol:

Well it's called hand fighting. He didn't even grab the dude. Just didn't get his head around. Florida DBs do what he does all game with one exception, they get their heads around and find the ball. That's all we need Martin to do. His first year the South Carolina game he was dominating P.Cooper. The same targeting shot he dropped a pick on it. Dropped another pick in that game. If he has a big year I won't be surprised. And Wiggins will be one of the best CBs in America.

Defense could really surprise if the LBs give us something. Talent on the backend and D-line is very very good. LBs are pedestrian.....

SN: he had two PIs which equate to 30 yards worth of catches. No other catches were given up by him. Sooooo yeah.... make it out to be worst than what it is. His worst play of the game was diving in like a madman on that long TD run instead of setting the edge.

Foreman is the one who guarded Cooper most of that game. Not Martin

The bad thing is I'm not kidding. Look up the women's rugby team. No way anyone can find five girls on Tennessee's campus uglier than those chicks.

well, it's the women's rugby team....i'd find it more surprising if you found one, anywhere, that wasn't...:eek:lol:

I've seen multiple quotes from Shoop saying that if Byrd were to be moved back to defense he would be a safety. I get that they felt like depth was weak at WR when he first arrived, but the fact that this staff would play him at safety instead of CB where he seemed to excel in HS is kinda bizarre to me. All that to say, it doesn't sound like he'll move from offense, and if he does, it's just going to be a bigger logjam at safety instead of CB like everyone on here is pining for.

Shoop better have a good year this year or I will really question him on a Chaney level with crap like that. Hate to ask for a link to where he said it but would really like to read it with my own eyes. Not questioning you by asking. Just hard for me to believe it.

I'll see if I can find it.

Here's two areas where Shoop talks about Byrd as a safety.

They started moving him inside after the outside guys were locking him up. He caught a TD on the outside as soon as we put Moseley in. The lined him up and ran a simple out route for a TD.

That's false. He started the game in the slot and stayed for majority of the game. In fact, one of the few times he did line up outside in the first half he had a catch vs Martin on a slant. When they ran 3+ WR's, Cooper was inside, when they ran 2 is when Cooper switched to outside. Foreman was on him almost the whole game and locked him up.

So how'd Cooper get blasted on the deep ball?

Also Martin vs Bama showed a lot of his natural ability. He brought it that whole game. Had he not tripped he would've stopped that Stewart catch. Our secondary actually balled that game.

Thank you and perhaps since those two had graduated they felt safety was where it was more open since they had Cam and martin was expected to hold down the other spot. Knowing Byrd had never played safety came into play when moving to slot. Of course after the cam injury and martin underperforming it was another of a miscalculation by Coach BS. You guys know I am not a nega but the D better be better this year than it was with Janny.

I said majority of the game, they only used 2 WR's on that play, which is when Cooper lined up outside.... It was also a poor throw and read lol. Cooper had a yard on him, had Randolph not a been there and it was a good throw that's a TD.

Never said Martin wasn't good so idk why you brought up Bama game. I just pointed out how him "dominating Cooper" was false.

When you are long and fast like Martin he should give up a step to bait the throw. That was a good pass but Martin exploded up to make a play. Guys with his skill set should dominate on any passes like that.

Martin had himself a game again bama 2 years ago. Unfortunately he had one bad play that cost us the game.
