I guess the only positive would be it strengthens FSU, who can hopefully unseat Clemson, who has been a thorn in our side recruiting lately.

He didn't want to stay so bye. Gillespie is every bit as good of a coach and recruiter.

And I'm not saying that I'm not appreciative of JG and his contribution to our football program as a player. He's a VFL, but he and RG are on the same level as a position coach and recruiter.

Exactly. Nobody gave the Vols a chance. Phil didn't even look that sure when he picked the Vols on the Gameday set. But I was responding to the person who said that Tennessee hasn't won any game that they were underdogs.

Funny thing is, Tennessee hasn't faced TOO many situations where they were underdogs the past two seasons. So, that is also a good indication that the program is heading in the right direction.
