Im surprised Bama is really not a factor no more .
Copeland is a Florida boy to his core, Pruitt has a great relationship and Bama was rumored to want him at DB (hence why Pruitt has good relationship with him). Now granted Tenn wants him at WR and if he were my son I would want him in UT's new offense over Mullen's but Bama was the only way he wasn't coming to UF, couple that with distance I don't see that changing barring something catastrophic.
(PS Copeland is a dog and fierce competitor and no commit at his position will impact his decision)

Jacob Copeland spoke very highly of Pruitt down in Orlando, noting that Tennessees new head coach started a relationship with him when he was in the 9th grade. The 4-star wideout gave glowing reviews of his OV on Rocky Top the weekend before the dead period, too. While the Pensacola native will visit Texas A&M and Alabama in early January, it appears to be a two-team race between SEC East rivals for Copeland down the stretch. Florida, where Copeland was originally committed, is set to receive the final official visit. Copeland really likes the Gators new receivers coach Billy Gonzales and spent a lot of time with QB commit Emory Jones down in Orlando. UF may hold a slight edge right now, but it would be foolish to discount Tennessee and Copelands longtime relationship with Pruitt.

If distance is a factor he will go to Alabama or Florida state. Even auburn is two hours closer than Gainesville.
FSU isnt in the picture at all he just dont like the noles for whatever reason
He even said Deion Sanders was as fake as they come lol
I know that. The notion of proximity however is dumb. Anyone whos been to Pensacola knows its 5 1/2 hours of boredom to Gainesville. If distance is a factor hed choose several other programs first.
Looks like he was recruited by Charles Kelly and Lawrence Dawsey for FSU. He seems to really dislike FSU, so UT's hiring of one or both of them might be a problem here.
Distance is a factor when it comes to leaving the state of Florida. Bama was the only out of state school he would go to. If I have to explain that any further then you won't get it.
I agree, Tenn has better scheme, Pruitt has great relationship but outside of something disastrous in the 11th hr it's UF.
Even as the most homerish Tenn fan you have to see him not stepping on campus after visiting three other schools is the not the best of omens.

Find me a link for this because none of our boards are saying this. Sounds like you are really stretching here for whatever reason. Pruitt started recruiting him at UGA when he was a freshman because Pruitt just came from FSU and had connections in the area. Many position coaches recruit players because of their connections to the area not because of the position.
UA is trying to get one more WR in the class. The top is probably J Ross(instate #1) likely end up at Clemson. Next on our board seems to be Waddle but aTm may have the edge. I would say Copeland is 3rd on our board from everything out there.
Like I mentioned we are only taking one more WR and why Watkins is headed to UF because we had no room for him and he wanted to commit to us.
