'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

So because he hasn't taken a uov to Knoxville after already taking his ov, UT fans should see that as a bad omen?!?

LOL!

I’m not the one that said this but there is some logic to it

It will be a month since he visited UT after the Bama and UF visits

Plus it’s not exactly a good thing when the home state school gets the last visit for a prospect you’re hoping to land

None of this means UT won’t get him just saying it will be tough

I know you didn't say it. I just quoted you because you had offered the explanation for what the other gator poster said in his post. And I don't disagree with what you are saying. My point was only that is sorta ridiculous to say that UT fans should feel it is a bad omen simply because this kid will likely not schedule a uov to UT although it has been less than a month after he took his of. UT fans know that UT was late to the party on JC, but hope that his relationships with new guys on the staff might be enough to sway him to Knoxville. And while it would have been nice to get his last of, UT needed to get him on campus before Dec. 20 to even really to get into the mix with his other top teams. And that is why UT IS in the mix now. Will it be enough? Maybe not; but is it a bad omen that he won't be back before NSD? We always new that Dec visit was going to be the only one he would likely make to UT, so I don't know it could be a bad omen that he is not making another when no one expected another.

Ohio State just did with Grinch.

Well there goes that theory. Haha. I'm sure it will get done soon. I'm curious how many of the newly hired coaches have filled 9 assistant spots in such short order. Seems like many are nowhere near that full. Almost unusual how fast he filled the staff and we're still complaining the last spot is taking too long. Hahaha

I think we're waiting for our HC and DC to get home before we announce.

One of them will be coming back with a brand new National Championship ring.

Could make for an interesting break room on Tuesday.

My apologies to the UT elite insiders. They are right and will get everybody.

But for the UT realists it is a UT/UGA for Quay Walker. I love this board, great job done here.
