'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

I'm guessing that's his brother in the back with the white gurl??He doesn't seem thrilled with the pick either, but supported his guy no matter what.Just going off what I see im thinking the family wanted UT and Copeland chose florida..Jmo tho then again who the hell knows..There family members got on Bama gear..

Was a complete Troll Job...Look at pix. Everyone either wearing Alabama or UT stuff. No UF stuff in the picture anywhere.

def seems like he told them one thing....so they come to the school expecting one thing and he does another. everyone is pissed except him haha. And that coincides with how he handled his recruitment. Really strange.

Yeah looks like Copeland is the only one in that family that wanted Florida...Respect the kid for doing his own thing, but after reading his Twitter etc he seems a bit immature and needs to do sum growing up.Momma prob wanted him outta the home state and go sumwheres away from friends and influencers..This is all my opinion tho.

How many of those (historically) become great college qbs and/or good nfl qbs? 1, maybe 2...

Man there’s just few guys in college that are undeniably good with quarterbacks

Alex Smith just got paid! at 34 yrs old my dude him and Dak Prescott say he’s pretty good at developing guys with little to no power 5 offers and turns them into quality NFL starters

Also Nick Fitzgerald literally NOBODY wanted that kid. He was rated 81 and his only 2 offers miss st and middle Tennessee state or some **** like that

Deny Mullen’s resume as one of the best Quarterback developers in cfb probably top 5 as head coaches go and that’s a huge plus esp for a school that’s had horrible luck there for years

Mullen knows what works to get the best out of his QBs and he runs his offense and calls plays I believe

That needed to be priority #1 on the must have proven track record with offense and QBs and past history of greatness at UF winning 2 titles with 2 very different QB’s

And I remember they whipped WRs like Dallas Baker and Jamele Cornelius into shape quick

Pretty sure Baker was lookin like a bust before Mullen and co came to town then he went straight beast mode

Jefferson, Cleveland, and Toney/Watkins are great compliments to each other and can be used so many different way hopefully Toney and or Watkins get 5 or 6 carries a game esp with a far more elusive quarterback who you have to respect

If she has an issue with his choice she needs to handle it in private. Walking out on your son like that is a really bad look.

This x1000. This is why I’ve grown to not like NSD (I know it’s easy to say now) but I feel like these kids and families are given the spotlight for the first time, and some just handle it so poorly and it turns into a charade. On one side you have the kids who do gestures like throwing hats and throwing a final jab at coaches who have worked hard to pursue them. Then you have the parents (some handle it excellent, don’t get me wrong) who think it’s all about them and do things like storming off or refusing to sign their papers. Then the fans bash players for not signing with their school, when they’ve earned a chance for a free education at a school that they probably wouldn’t have been able to attend without football. It’s almost too much to take in. I don’t care if mom was all vol, that is such a petty, immature Lavar Ball type thing to do. I would never do that to my son, and if I did not like the school he signed with and was asked about it, I would try to rationally explain it but still explain that I support my son. Storming out of a HS gymnasium is such a bad look.

Mullen also helped turn Aaron Hernandez into a killer TE.

I'm clearly on record that I'd like to see nsd done away with altogether. If a kid has made up his mind and the school is willing to accept him, then he should be able to sign whenever he wants to.

Not even close I’ve seen his highlights where he’s dropping dimes

The kid is rated behind

UGA Justin Fields- 99 composite rating
UCLA Dorian Thompson Robinson - 98 comp
TCU Justin Rogers - 97 comp
ND Phil Jurkovec - 96 comp
UF Emory Jones- 96 comp

Emory is terrible throwing the ball..... lol

FWIW, I'm calling shenanigans if this guy receives a diploma from UF. Just sayin.

Can you all stop doing this? Some of these dudes go to college and get developed as people. Tennessee did a lot of guys good during Fulmer’s reign. Guys that were on the edge got taught how to interview. I can deal with that. We need football players not interview stars.

But man you gotta love Copeland, Watkins. Pitts and the transfers Grimes and Jefferson

Dont think Grimes plays this yr but hoping Jefferson is cleared

Really like RB talent with Scarlett back too

Gator offense Gonna shock some folks

Grimes and Jefferson, both former 5-stars. UF is loading up again.

No neither actually Grimes is a 6’5” freak tho with real potential to be the best gator pure WR since spurrier days big as af and speed to run by top CBs

I saw pure because while monster was a monster he wasn’t all that at WR he was great but of his 4000 yards half were rushing

And I
