'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

It’s funny ya but absolutely pointless Pensacola and Gainesville are so far apart and different it’s not even worth discussing unless Copeland is a hood nicca to the core which is highly doubtly

Much more believable he just wants to ball out and make it to the league

Not saying these rumors are true but distance is not a reason to distsnce the possibility. There's more that goes into it than just distance. Gainesville is the bigger city, and he could easily have more connections even though it's further away because it's the home to a in-state university. Also have you not heard the crazy stories of Florida criminals that make the news on a daily basis haha.

Gangs are networked within state more often than out of state. He could have contacts in Gainesville and it's that simple. It's unlikely he has gang related contacts in Tuscaloosa or Knoxville and the mother may feel they will keep Jacob on the straight and narrow better than Gainesville. Not saying that's absolute but if it is gang related, I get the lady crying and mother being upset. The reaction is fair under that circumstance. As of now, we don't know that to be fact.

He was known hothead

And his trips up to Connecticut after his dad died he got worse and worse with the gang life in Hartford

On an episode of Gangland about 5-6 years ago the featured Los Solidos and most of them were repping AH jerseys. His gang affiliation have always been out there.

Feel bad for the kid.

Depends on the reasoning. For example, I would not react well if my daughter wanted to go to Michigan State right now. Not saying Florida has any issues even close to that, just saying it depends on the reasoning. If they want him to go to, say Bama, because they simply liked it more, then I'd feel bad for him.

It speaks to a larger issue, and whatever that issue is, you don’t show up your kid like that in front of everyone.

I’m guessing you and your daughter have a good enough line of communication to where her choice to attend college wouldn’t come as a shock to you on a national stage.

100% correct.

Gators fans may not think there was any drama involved, but wide receiver Jacob Copeland was linked to Tennessee, Florida and then Alabama during NSD. Upon his announcement, his mother got up and left the table, seemingly upset with his choice of the Gators. Did Mom want Tennessee, as some have suspected? We may or may not find out in the end, but this was a dramatic decision.-Rivals

Sounds like momma wanted UT

Copeland said he informed family on Tues that UF was his choice and some weren't happy.

After seeing him talk, I'm glad he picked UF. He really struggled to put a sentence together. I don't see how he can pass a college course. UF can have their top 1% of the 1%.

Again, Travis Henry was admitted into the University of Tennessee.

Everyone in Frostproof knew he was a functioning illiterate.

Many schools passed on him, including UF and FSU.

UT did not.

His mom just walked out on him on national tv on probably the biggest day of his life. How eloquent would you have been at 17 years old in the face of that kind of trauma?

I've been up and down on how i feel about this kid. God bless him. He's struggling with the biggest decision he has ever made and his family is ****ting on him. He's not stupid by any means. He was incredibly nervous at the announcement and the mic/headphones weren't working when they cut to the live feed of him. Give him a break. I hope he tears it up. Just not against us.

ugh you suck as a human

Why?

UF tried to get Henry at the end but the ship had already sailed.

He was struggling with the interview and conveying any thoughts long before the mom walked out. It was painful to watch.
