'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

Can you all stop doing this? Some of these dudes go to college and get developed as people. Tennessee did a lot of guys good during Fulmer’s reign. Guys that were on the edge got taught how to interview. I can deal with that. We need football players not interview stars.

Here's an idea...step off the moral high horse for a minute and take a joke. I don't care what this kid does. He's going to Florida and I couldn't care less if he graduates or flakes out. Take your self-importance back to Birmingham and...

Yeah looks like Copeland is the only one in that family that wanted Florida...Respect the kid for doing his own thing, but after reading his Twitter etc he seems a bit immature and needs to do sum growing up.Momma prob wanted him outta the home state and go sumwheres away from friends and influencers..This is all my opinion tho.

There for sure seems to be more to it than thher just walking out. It looks as if no one expected him to pick FL.

And you're probably right, she probably wants him away from certain people and the best option for that was either TN or Bama.

We'll find out more on this I bet

I don’t need highlights champ.

Mullen’s developing of quarterbacks is a fact

quarterbacks far lower rated in Emory

Sorry champ I’m taking Dan’s opinion over some guy on VN

If u think Prescott and Fitzgerald were throwing dimes in HS u are mistaken took a lot of coaching

Honestly u should be a little concerned what Mullen could do with a blue chip top 100 kid compared to the low 3 stars he’s used to working with

Most media and fans will see this as the quirky incident and chalk it up to recruiting craziness. But his mother and family have every right to be upset if he’s going to be in FL for the next 3 or 4 years and around people they think are negative influences. I would be upset too if it was my son. I don’t think I would have embarrassed him on national television, but I’m not going to question how his mom reacted. This is real life and decisions you make can affect you for years. I wish the young man and his family good luck.

So Hernandez shot a dude in the face because he was unaffiliated ?

If it's true about gang affiliation this is a much bigger issue than football. Heck his mom wore clothing of two rivals, I don't think this has to do with college football. It's not a Landon Collins situation.

I never want him to do well against Tennesse, but I hope he keeps out of trouble and does well for himself.

He probably won't.

Point is P-Cola and Gainesville are so far apart

Where’s the connection? All I kept hearing was how long a trip it is to

If he is just all about the hood life chillin in some room with 6 sweaty mfers drinking natty ice tall boys and gin while smoking blunts and playing nba2k ok then

Listen I been there when I was young But take long to realize it’s BS and real job is the way to go with a thing or 2 on the side

I know he's been immature throughout the whole process including today, and that he chose Florida over the vols, but i gotta say i felt bad for the kid when he signed. He made his decision and his mom flat out walked. I'm sure she had strong opinions of where he should go. But really i mean you'd think at the end of the day he's 18 making his first adult decision and you could see him watch her walk away and looked like he was about to cry.

Now quay walker however can eat a bag full of **** i hope ty chandler breaks both his ankles on his way into the end zone and throws his hand towel he keeps tucked in his jockstrap right at quays face after.

Gang related discussion.

Chalk that up as something I never thought I’d read on Volnation.

It’s funny ya but absolutely pointless Pensacola and Gainesville are so far apart and different it’s not even worth discussing unless Copeland is a hood nicca to the core which is highly doubtly

Much more believable he just wants to ball out and make it to the league

It was just a bad look for his mother regardless of her reasons.
