"He has been. I don't know if he has the last couple of days, but he has been in communication with him.

I still contend regardless of what he does or doesn't do in the coming days/weeks, his recruitment is a long ways from over."

What's funny is, he doesn't fit Clemson's system. I bet he never sees significant minutes at Clemson. Bet he turns out to be our Dormady. You saying Dormady doesn't start next year? I think he does. I actually think he does really well and UT's O resembles a little more Okla/Clemson after Hurd/Kamara/Dobbs leave.

He needs to read/react quicker but most freshman do, he throws a ridiculous ball though.

He might. I think Jones will give him a run for his money. Wouldn't be surprised to see a redshirt freshman establish himself either. I guess what I'm sayingis I thing a DT QB is more suited for this offense.

I think Dormady is a great talent and I'm pulling for him. He's a good guy too.

I know I don't have anything to base this on, but I think Sheriron may have a better chance to start NY than Dormady.

I know who's gotten the playing time so far, but I haven't heard anything but good about Sheriron, and I feel like there was something more than homesickness when he decided to come back to UT.

I'm absolutely happy either way, cause I have a lot of trust in Dormady's ability.

I agree. It's a great place to be in. Instead of being apprehensive about the next QB we've got two really good options. That's rare in the SEC.

I'll add this to the Jones-Dormady argument. I in no way am a person close to the program, but from what I've seen Jones seems like a more vocal outgoing teammate. If that's the case, and he established himself as a team leader after this senior class leaves, AND he takes his game to the next level.. he could be a stud under this offense.

I mentioned the other day I thought he made sense. With UGA likely getting Lawrence I think we could pull Fields out of GA. I like that he's getting offers from everywhere he camps. Coaches liking when they see him live obviously.

Yep means they got word. Just watched Fields good looking player. Better runner than Jones but jones the better thrower. Fields a good passer too though. I'd be happy wth Fields. Fuente at Va Tech offers recently and that guy knows QBs

Well, good news is Jarrett Guarantano will be a sophomore and hopefully be a great QB. Really do need to have some guys come in and develop though. Sucks missing on a kid who grew up a vol fan (TL) and it looks like we miss on a great Dual Threat QB.

JG will be redshirted this year. So he will take over as either a RS FR or RS SOPH
