Not true. Dormady will be a Junior in 2017 so if he stays and plays two full years JG won't be a starter till his redshirt junior year I believe. Unless I'm missing something.

Talk was of mom getting a job in Columbus. Could have just been talk. If it happens, obviously distance isn't a factor.

I'm surprised more recruits family isn't "hired" everywhere to secure a signature. Lots of jobs needing filled. I'd take advantage.

Agree for the most part . The only problem is what if that recruit is a bust and you're stuck with the hire

I'd imagine most taking a job offered tied to a recruit isn't expecting it to last more than 3-5 years. Like any hire, the future isn't guaranteed.

i figure it was mainly joking because he has done that with others. Never know with Urban though. I'm sure the mom just eventually wanted her son to make his own decision. I still wouldn't stop here unless we find someone we really are good with in the process. I'd be good with the Fields kid as I really like him and the fact that Cut and Fuentes also offered immediately at camps. I can just see a lot of things happening between now and his signing day such as a big year for TN and Dobbs. Possibly OSU has a younger QB step up and solidify a job to where there wouldn't be an open competition in his first 2 yrs. never know

I'm not saying he won't, but people kind of have it as a foregone conclusion it seems and QD will have a much bigger lead and more experience.

Plus, if he doesn't beat him out next year, I don't foresee JG swooping in QD's senior year and taking the starting job from him after a full year of experience unless QD just sucks it up. I don't see any of our future QB's sucking.
