JG and his dad will tell you a different story. JG will red shirt this year and that is the single biggest concern for future QB recruits.

Yeah, I'm aware we signed a good quarterback last cycle. Since then though, Dobbs still hasn't shown quite the improvement we had hoped, and that reflects on the coaches ability to develop talent. As for Guarantano, I hope he is that good, but I don't think all of the quarterbacks we've missed on are afraid of him. Other teams who have recently landed top quarterbacks don't seem to be having that problem. Hopefully we land Fields.

Dobbs has shown tremendous improvement.

Dobbs does Dobbs awesome. He would likely be a similar player elsewhere

I personally go by 247 composite but those bumps from Scout & Rival will affect the 247 Sports composite. He will probably be a 4* from there by seasons end if not before. That sounds great. Thanks!

Oh I understand that. I am saying we have another chance to close out on a aolid prospect at qb. I am just afraid if we dont our backup options have a pretty steep drop off talent wise so it seems.

I agree with you but he's getting more & more offers now so it's not making it easy for him. I know he likes CBJ & staff.

I know he likes the University of Tennessee. I just hope all these other offers coming in doesn't get him thinking too much because I believe he wants to be a Vol.

Penix or Foster would be next in line in terms of talent if we end up not getting Fields but I think we're going to get him in the end.

The Loving kid from LA is also showing a lot of promise but he doesn't have any offers yet which surprises me a bit.
