Congratulations to Justin on his dream offer. I know I'd play at Tennessee if given the opportunity, regardless of the circumstances.

Just have to laugh at this point. At least the kids aren't worried about the 5-star competition.

Have to wonder what impact a good QB coach hire would have on these 2018 QB recruits. Maybe Butch is trying to sell them (Lawrence/Fields) on delaying decisions until after the season?

If we miss out on Lawrence, Emory Jones, and now Fields that is not a good look for Butch and the confidence he is trying to build in our "system" for QB's. We really need Guarantano to come in here next year and ball out and help put some shine on us. I really don't want to have to start settline for the 3* QB's as well.

We have to have good quarterback play to win in the SEC.

Fields and Fromm and Eason. That's a lot of QB talent for UGA.

It's been said already, but the combination of Guarantano or even Dormady for that matter, and a solid quarterback coach hire this offseason will go a long way to landing one of these top notch QBs for 2018.

It's still a long way til signing day and one of these guys might pull a Hunter Johnson and decomitt from their current school and come to play at UT.

What makes you think that we are going to hire a QB coach? This has been discussed every year since Butch Jones took over and still has not been done. With the limitations on staff's, there would have to be a decision made elsewhere.

I don't think the lack of a paid QB coach has anything to do with it. If that were the case, we would not have Dormady or Guarantano.

No matter where Lawrence decides to go, his reason for not choosing Tennessee had more to do with his ability to be successful in our offense, not who our QB coach was. The same thing was true for Hunter Johnson.

For Fields, he fits our offense to a tee. If he decides to go to Georgia, it is because he has wanted to all along.

New Athletic Director.

Multiple sources, some really connected with the program, have talked about stuff shakeup, turnover, and improvement.

Dobbs' graduation makes it a very convenient time to bring on a QB coach.

Wishful thinking.

Those reasons make me think the hire might happen.

And, I don't think Fields is an automatic lock for UGA, either.

There are other options out there for Tennessee. Michael Penix has had a great year in Florida. 30 TD passes and just one interception. There is the Yankoff kid and some more they are in on.

This 2018 QB cycle has already been interesting and it's about to become ever more intriguing."
