Agree about the OL and the WR corps. Disagree about a run first offense. Jim Chaney has never coached a run first offense. If anything, it seems UGA hasn't leaned on the RBs enough for a freshman QB

Could be. I was just thinking that typically UGA relies very heavily on their run game. Seems they are asking way too much from Eason.

Seriously going to use the place he was told to gtfo instead of all his other jobs. Beliema was so pissed at chaneys play calling. Chaney is and always has been pass happy. Chubb and Michel had to force a meeting with him to yell about not getting the ball

Butch has only had w great classes. Not doing great to me but that happense when you lose games. Uga is kicking his ass in recruiting and thst talent will be too much to overcome at some point

The Chaney is bad narrative by some on here is amusing. He was run first at Arky as stated. He is run first now. Stats. UGA has 408 rushes out of 725 offensive plays. He is trying his best to coach up a true freshman pro style QB behind a mediocre to poor O-line. Unlike Dobbs/UT that means next to no read options, which all opposing DC's are aware. He will recruit to the system he and Smart want to run. Like he has elsewhere.

The other silly narrative is Kirby Dumb. Dumb's D is becoming much stronger even in his first season. 7 points for Auburn. No first downs in the second half. Can we say the same things after 4 seasons of "development". Yep - we've had injuries to key players. So how ready were the subs in their development? Not so much.

We were razor thin better than UGA the past two seasons. I see major issues staying that way if our staff is not upgraded and our roster developed better than it has been.

He's physiologically incapable of being so on his own. HC has to micromanage...like Bielema. Throw stats out the window til all the glass shards are dust...I paid attention when he was here.

Chaney was forced out at Arkansas because he would abandon the run too much.

UGA played an AU team with an injured QB that couldn't throw and that was missing their RB's. Kirby sucks and will continue to do so.

UGA has had a top 10 class every year forever. Several times top 5. This year's class for UGA is no better than previous years.

Florida game. In the second half Florida didn't get a first down until the 4th quarter. At times out d has played really well.

It's GOT to start getting better though. If we're gonna start being contenders then it has to happen. We can't allow the top notch talent like a Tee Higgins or Trey Smith go play their college football outside the state at another school. We MUST keep those type recruits playing in Knoxville.
