Don't think Jones signs with OSU, only a matter of time before '17 Tate Martell is a buckeye and the bucknuts are still going all out for '18 Jurkovech, they thing they have a great shot to flip him still.

As for TL, he's back on Ga's campus, 2nd time in 3 weeks. CU has staying power, said to watch them for months now, TL's dad Loves Dabo, but then again, don't we all???

Lmao & don't we all 😂🤔😩😷😭

Says the person who watches MORE film than anybody. Also UGA troll u might as well be a troll for whoever is #1 at any given time.

Look if you guys don't like info that's cool I will continue to say what I hear. Funny how all you guys have ALOT to say but nobody has mention/heard anything about Lawrence in WEEKS.

Anyone hear about Lawrence visiting when Gruden is comin like a lot of QBs are. What about any other visits that the kid has planned. #1 rule in recruiting follow the visits. Im still looking forward to the Tennessee visit.

GBO

Anonymously sourced hearsay isn't info. Anyone can type, "I hear it's between...". You have 136 posts. There aren't many stats to check. Unless you want to disclose where you 'heard' that... it won't be taken seriously by very many posters here.

I see that he's been taking visits to Athens lately (so has Gibbs). It's cause for concern but way too early to think Tennessee is out of it for Lawrence. We have had a foot in the door with Lawrence from the start.

...also, this tends to be a time of the year when verifiable recruiting information tends to be very slow. Aside from a few tweets not much is happening in any thread. This is not unusual in the middle of June when families go on vacation and other things have the interest of recruits.

...but if that makes you and your 2 Georgia/Clemson buddies who are throwing you 'likes' feel better - more power to you.

Last post about this. To say it's slow in threads is laughable. Higgins trend ain't slow kid has been on campus and at satellite camps. As has Mays,Smith, Fant,Gray, Williams, Crosby etc. Because these kids have been to camp or visited campus. My point is trends are only slow at this time when kids DONT visit or mention Tennessee. Bet the Lawerence trend at slow at other schools.

He has visited Georgia more lately than he has Tennessee but considering the proximity of the two schools to where he lives that is not completely unexpected - same for Gibbs. Visits are also not the end all. It's pretty clear your source are the Georgia forums who are interpreting these recent visits to mean that they lead for him. I don't necessarily believe that is true. At the very least, Tennessee is still in the picture for him.

Tn 100% in the picture here. This clemson/uga only stuff is total garbage. The other two are in the picture that is certain.

The kids high school coach is pushing UGA now and I don't have to tell you why...but rest assured were in the game as well.

I still like us here long term. If that changes you will hear from me.

Okay. So you think it is between Clemson and Uga. I wonder why the third team was not mentioned which is Bama? Also dont count out Ut in this one. From what I have been told we have slipped a little and are recruiting Jones hard but we have never lost contact with Trevor nor do we plan to.

The only ties his coaches have are to Clemson but don't let facts get in your way.

CU-Dabo
TN-childhood fav Biggest PM fan you will meet
GA-friends, spent the night at GA last hanging with players notably Eason

Still think UT is in a good position, the family is doing their homework including pro vs spread, but even evaluating OL coaches, how many X the QB gets hit in a normal game, skill players, basically everything. Parents should take notes.

Six month old quote from Lawrence when asked if his childhood allegiance to Tennessee will play a factor when he chooses a school.

“That doesn’t really affect me at all. I’m going to go to the school where I fit in best and where I can be successful.” --Trevor Lawrence

Yes... we are aware that he shrugged that off. This early in the process most recruits will deny that any team has an edge because they want all interested teams to pursue them aggressively. Perhaps he even meant that but players don't always mean what they say. Nigel Warrior said that he wouldn't let his legacy status impact his decision but it clearly did.

Guys we are not in the top 3. UT not getting another visit before commit date is what I was told. Looks like UGA, CU and Florida are the final group. Crazy how this slipped away. The family is looking at every detail. Looking at programs from the inside is much different than what we see as die hard fans from the outside. I think we will know before August.

Aka a lie. Of course it affects him. Whether it affects him a lot or not is too be determined. But theres no way it doesn't "affect" him. Period.

Florida just wishes they had a chance.

If you said that's what the clowns at UGA's 247 site were saying, I'd have no issues with you. But instead you try to pass yourself off as an insider just regurgitating what is likely biased information.

There is definitely some Jake (Dawg Homer) Rowe going on in these last two pages.

The kids folks ain't doing much homework if they think Kirby is going to let Cheney sling it all over the place like Dools the fool did. He brought JC in to do what he was doing at Arky. CUs offense to me is not a whole lot different from ours, except that we have had to tailor it to Dobb's strengths and weaknesses. Watson is a better passer and his WRs have been better. I think our passing game will look better this year. I wish the kid would give us a chance. I believe that Butch and co have got the offense to the point where they can install wrinkles without blowing the kids minds. I Look for more adjustments to be made in game than before. They have had to keep it simple because the team, especially the OL, has been so young. They are now veterans with experience.

Joe T III was my favorite UGA QB

Joe T III was my favorite UGA QB

He went to high school with my kids. So did Billy Bennett - I was never able to convert them (my kids) to Vols. Daughter went to Ole Miss and son to UCF (but he's a Dawg fan like his dad) BUT my G-daughter sings Rocky Top and throws up the Vols sign! :)

Wrong Again

All of this guys 17 posts are in this one thread in which he says nothing positive about Tennessee and also claims to know the Lawrence family... Based on some these posts, it's doubtful that he is a genuine Vol fan but he could have some inside info. It is concerning that Lawrence has taken so many visits to Athens lately but I'm not convinced Tennessee is out of it. Like I said before, we'll see what happens.

While I have no inside information, it is hard for me to think UT is no longer in the running with Lawrence. If he and his parents are doing an intensive due diligence look at all of the programs, doesn't the 2017 recruiting class and this year's performance matter a lot? Let's say we sign Obinna Eze and Trey Smith, which there appears to be a pretty good chance of happening. That would be the platform for potentially the best OL class in '17. Let's say we sign Higgins, Nixon, Akers or Chandler, Hayden, and Fant, which seems to be possible. That would be a great offensive skill class. The '17 offensive class, in short, is shaping up to be an all around top 5 offensive class. That is not including Cade Mays, who is an elite OL and is already committed in Lawrence's own class. I think UT's defensive recruiting has been better than its offensive recruiting and so there should be balance. Lawrence could make a huge difference in attracting additional elite offensive talent in '18 and beyond.

In sum, Clemson, UGA, and UF all have a lot to offer but there's no way that any of those program's present a clearly superior future opportunity for Lawrence given the facts and circumstances. Pair that with his fandom and I have to think there's a chance here and a good one at that. As with all of the elite recruits, we need to win this year and win big to move potential to production.

Lawrence said yesterday that he is confident he will make a decision before the start of the HS season. He is visiting Clemson this week. It wouldn't surprise me if Florida and Oklahoma worked their way into contention; depending on how he views competition with other QBs on campus.

Well if you read all of his quotes, not just the one stating that his childhood fandom of UT will not affect his decision, you'd know that he is not afraid of competition. All of his finalists have legit QB's on their rosters anyway, so..
