I disagree. I think the Qb draw is a very important play and is one of the best offensive playoff certain situations. However, I do think Dobbs has carried the ball way too many times in the past. A lot of those carries where necessary because the OL had so many problems pass blocking. If the OL can improve its pass blocking this Fall, Dobbs will likely be able to reduce his run-called plays and the passing game can be much improved. If this happens, our offense will more unpredictable and more efficient. As a result, the defense will be on the field less and they will be more rested and much better. I really look forward to this Season to begin and see the VOLs roll.

I heard about some idiot that is probably going to lose his job at a bank for playing that new pokemon game at work. He works with a lot of personal documents so he wasn't supposed to have his phone out at work. He saw something on the pokemon game and it looked like he was taking a bunch of pictures. Moron. :crazy:

I think there's a little confusion when people want "changes" in the offense and some say don't change. Nobody wants an entire offensive change. You can taylor you offense to fit players strengths without wholesale changes. A guy like TL would definitely work in this offense, you would just see more pass plays than runs plays, but he is mobile enough to keep it as well. With Dobbs, not being a great passer, we rely more on the run. We saw some small adaptations, late in the season and bowl games, to get more pass plays. That would just continue to happen if we had a guy like TL. His strength would be passing, so we would pass more, but he is still athletic enough to keep it 5-10 times a game. We just can't have a totally non-mobile quarterback, like Worley.
On a side note, I really think JG is gonna show us all that either type of QB or play calling will workin this offense, as I think he will be a much better passing threat and just as good of a runner.

The I Formation really opened some things up for us in the bowl game. Hurd made some nice runs out of the I and the PA pass game was great out of the I. I really hope to see a lot more of that this coming season.

We will, and even more when JG is the starter.... And even more with a guy like TL, not to mention many other pass plays we haven't seen yet.

This is a HUGE letdown..been following this kid since last year. He is by far is the most impressive HS talent I've ever seen on tape. He will do well wherever he goes, which stinks because right now I can't stand either school.

Never would have thought that we'd lose out before Clemson. We were TL's childhood team. How can he eliminate us before freaking Clemson? What is so great about Dabo??..He is a chode imo. Ever since he chewed out his punter on national television I have lost full respect for the man.

The only reason Clemson is getting a lot of consideration right now is because they happen to have recent success. Yet, their success can be contributed to playing in a weak conference and having an elite talent like Deshaun Watson. Trevor Lawrence is the only way they stay relevant in the college football playoff conversation after Watson declares for the draft.

Either way this blows..Hope he somehow sees the light if the Vols perform well this year.
