LB depth might not be as bad as people think. Ignont, Page, Reid and Gray (sounds like he's going to redshirt and bulk up to play OLB)...plus Flint and maybe Grant from '18 class. For a team that mostly plays nickel that's pretty good young talented depth at LB, IMO.

I'm not saying it because of the LB depth. I'm saying it because I just think he's better at LB. Also, if he was 2 inches taller I think he'd be a higher rated athlete because he good.

Oh, I know. I was just pointing out the young depth at LB coming in/just arrived this year.

I wrote this in June and I still believe it. Grant could be one of those hybrid safety\linebackers that excelled for UT in the 90s

You want to see what a linebacker looks like , watch Jayden Mcdonald from North Gwinnett....showed out with 4 pick 6s so far , a strip fumble return for a td and 10 1/2 sacks. Best lb in Gwinnett county

Yeah looking at Bamas roster he would have to be about 6-2 to lave a shot there. Carry on.

Bump. Any word with new staff in relation to Grant? Still all Vol? Just curious with other RB's being recruited if we were still good with him. Sure it will help with Still having CRG still on staff.
