Yeah, I know what u mean. Right before he committed somebody said, all he does is out-athlete his comp and/or breaks it outside. I watched a couple of his videos and saw his vision, cuts/jukes, amazing spin move and running through tackles. Plus, he caught a few balls out of the backfield and seemed to have pretty good hands. But, different videos had some of the above stuff at the end. He looks like the real deal to me. Very happy we have this kid committed, right now. U know how disappointed I was, when UT missed out on Teague. This was my 2nd choice at RB. Hopefully, UT can hold on to him until signing day

Finally got around to watching this kid's hudl highlights since he's committed. I'll make my assessment brief as it's only worth $0.02 :)

Pros: I'd say Lyn-J is a very versatile playmaker. He looks very patient in the backfield and seems to find the holes when they open up. He seems to shed tackles and have a decent stiff arm. Also appear to be surehanded and catches the ball well. Has good vision in space and eats up a good bit of yards at the second level.

Questions: Quite frankly, I'm not sure about his strength and speed at this point. I obviously don't know about his level of competition, but he breaks tackles pretty easily and yet doesn't really break away much. I'm not gonna call these "Cons" because I truly don't know if these things will hold him back or not. If he's surehanded, runs hard and can find yardage when you need it, you don't need to wow ppl with 40 times and bench presses. The kid could just quite simply be a good "gall dern" football player. And we always need those!

Almost 12 hours since an update on a new commit...........

I realize that no news is good news, but didn't want this
FANTASTIC recruit to fall too far down the list.
