He's that 5'11" 185lb RB that's Super quick, jump cut, great change of direction, tough to corral, very good out of backfield in passing game, extremely tough matchup for LB's in space, great burst, similar to Kamara. Plays bigger than he looks, very productive, small town kid but a bigtime get for UT."

If Chad has anything to say about it I'm guessing a bump to a 4 star is coming. He gushed about Dixon.

Ainge was talking him up to. Thinks he is as good enough not better than chandler. Said his speed and cutting ability do not warrant being a low 4 star or high 3 star

As for the two running backs who pulled the trigger over the weekend, Lyn-J Dixon was a big-get for the Vols. The RB dominos across the country have started to fall and Clemson continued to sniff around the Taylor County standout in recent weeks. Robert Gillespie has long wanted Dixon as one of his two tailbacks in the 2018 class.

Of course. Anytime the defending national champions offer a player there is some concern.

But our staff knows that too which is why I'm sure we will continue to recruit him and other rbs.

Sheesh, some of you belong in the Football Forum. Was just asking a question.

My hope is that Dixon announced his commitment after it appeared that Zamir White was Georgia or UNC bound, so why commit to UT if you want to go to Clemson and are just waiting on the offer from them. I think Dixon likes Gillespie, he likes the idea of playing with Grant and UT was his first offer and that matters to him.

i am so glad the nega vols continue to find something to complain about.

first Butch sucked for taking him over the higher rated guys we "missed" on. Now butch sucks because he is going to lose said recruit to Clemson.

and I really appreciate the concern with there being nothing else than an offer.

I know women with a bigger set than a lot of our so-called fans on this site. It's a pathetic display.

He is still rated higher than Teague and you would have thought the world came to an end when he went to OSU.
