'18 GA RB Lyn-J Dixon (Tennessee transfer)

Yep. That's why Cooper will always be the most remembered of the mannings and David Carr finally got that $100 million contract

Lol, I started to say the same, but I knew he'd fire back with examples to the contrary, which there are plenty as well. Point being, I wouldn't, as he said, call it "very rare".

There's almost 2 for 1 trade off when examining older brothers to younger. Many times recruiting services fall in love with the bloodlines and many times legacies produce but the brother thing doesn't come to fruition a ton.

Also, while Cooper may never be as popular as Peyton, he was a freak athlete that never had a chance with his spinal disorder. Peyton to Eli would be a better analogy.

Also, David Carr was the first pick in the draft.

Gronk is the one I remember most when thinking about younger brother being much better. For every Gronk there's two Champ Bailey's, Aaron Rodgers, Marion Barber, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Flacco, etc...

Has it occurred to you that in situations where the older brother isn't as good that you've likely just never heard of the older brother? I mean, you mentioned Gronk, who is the younger sibling, and then a bunch of guys with younger siblings who also played football.

I mean Marshawn Lynch has an older brother named David who, I'm pretty sure, isn't the runningback his younger brother is.

Scott Favre did not have a Hall of Fame NFL career.

Those are literally the first two football players I Googled.

Did David play in NFL? Scott? Did either even play football?

In case of Lynch and Favre, both younger brothers never amassed to anything in their football careers.

Ok, so the sample that you're looking at has arbitrary limitations that you get to determine. I wouldn't expect any conclusions other than the one you set out to achieve then.

Well when you put it like that. Yes. When looking at situations where two brothers play a high level of football I feel more often than not that the older brother has been more successful.

It seems that way to me. I'll admit, I've never delved into every situation to make a conclusion. I simply have this opinion. I would be interested to see someone actually take the time to pull the stats.

Getting back on target, why has Cook been brought up? It seems the Georgia fan keeps putting him in threads. He has no affiliation nor any real interest to this point with us. I think he stays in state at the end of the day.

I am very happy with the RB's we have committed.

Agree completely on your last sentence.

True. But David Lynch went on to create Twin Peaks. If you've seen the series we can probably agree he was too mental for the game of football.

Then it's settled. While older brothers are physically more dominant than their younger counterparts, younger brothers are much smarter.

Update from CU247

— Four-star running back Lyn-J Dixon visited Clemson with either a trainer or coach. He arrived well before the Cookout started and spent time on campus with the staff. Dixon was active on social media posting pictures of himself sporting a Clemson uniform posing with Clemson commitments for a photo shoot. He added, "Still all Vols, though." Dixon camped at Alabama last weekend.

Clemson's big recruiting weekend was a dud. Only two non commits showed up and none of their top guys they want showed. They didn't invite 2019 recruits so it was just 13 players there.

Good. I'm sick of those clowns thinking they're somebody cause they won one championship.

Still a second rate program IMO.
