Why not? Seemingly one of the biggest needs for us is elite D line depth. What sort of numbers crunch are we in that we can't take a kid who may be a consensus top 50 player before he signs?

I don't think it matters. If this kid wants to come to UT, we will make it work and find a spot for him

He's still high on UT. He's make a few trips down to campus also. We don't know the season that PSU will have, maybe they implode.That's why you never stop recruiting.

We aren't going to win every recruiting battle. We are going to lose most recruiting battles. That's the nature of recruiting hundreds of kids when you can only take about 25. I think most people just don't understand why you feel the need to say the same thing in just about every recruits thread: "He's not coming here. Move on." It really isn't exactly a contribution. It's just negativity. People like to hope. If your thing is just to spread negativity, then I guess carry on man.
