Trevor Lawrence got drawn into Clemson by bag men. We all know tee was and I've heard from multiple people that Xavier Thomas got paid too. Can't wait for dabo to meet the same fate as freezeThere have been a lot of excuses being put forward for Smart on ATL radio. Buck Belue keeps falling back on "players don't want to come in and sit" behind last years guys, that Trevor Lawrence was scared off by Fromm (Hunter Johnson was rated higher than Fromm). It is not a legitimate reason, those same top guys in the state are committed to Bama, Clemson, OSU, and other schools that have top classes every year.
I wish there were links. Rumors but there's a lot of smoke. OV said tee got paid and then I heard from some people that know Thomas's Dad that the family got paid (again rumor). Thomas was 50/50 between Carolina and Clemson and was planning on announcing in December on his dad's birthday, and then all of a sudden committed to Clemson. Lots of smokeDo we have links or just rumors?

College football is a dirty business just like college basketball. There's no such thing as "clean recruiting". Sometimes you have to ignore NCAA Violations and use bagmen to get the players you really want. Freeze nor Dabo aren't the only ones who's guilty of doing the same thing. Some coaches are just better at hiding it than others.

Elsewhere, Tennessee remains in solid shape for several other in-state targets include defensive tackle D’Andre Litaker and safety Brendon Harris. Clemson, Florida and Ohio State (especially the Buckeyes) are making a strong push for Harris though, as Tennessee must keep up its attention on the 4-star safety. Ohio State is pushing hard to get him to campus before he makes a decision. It's definitely worth watching.
