'18 TN DL Greg Emerson (UT commit 7/3/17)

It didn't start leaking until then.

It built from day 1 when he stepped on campus.

In classic Jones style, he said whatever he had to to get the signature.

and? people are fine with straight up cheating under Pruitt but you are worried about lying?

Dead horse but yep, this team was on the upswing big time till that.

The snake oil was going to run out eventually. He built his program off of hype and recruiting highly rated guys that he couldn't develop. You can only build momentum for so long until it eventually becomes clear that you can't coach.

A good boss I once had said “hope is not a course of action”

....but:

My hope with this staff is they take recruiting to the next level very quickly precisely for the ability of taking someone else’s groceries and making SEC level, competive football players out of them. If these guys can coach ball like I feel they can, it’s going to reverberate with recruits and we will see some athletes jumping on the bandwagon.

Who's worried?

He sold a bill of goods he never backed up and it eventually split his team in half and was a factor in where he eventually ended up. Which was unemployed.

Im not sure what "cheating" has to do with any of that.

it could easily end up the exact same way.

What kind of things did he tell recruits just to get them to come here?

I was getting specific info on Hurd before he ever committed.

Hurd was a mantle piece in midstate recruiting and that was the big reason Jones let it draw out as long as he did before they severed ties. Jones didn't want the perception that one of his cornerstones was a problem and wanted to leave. Of course, he didn't want everyone to know why he wasn't happy.

What could?

Im still lost as to why what I posted has anything to do with anybody cheating?

Jones told Hurd one thing, and then did something else. Its not the first time that ever happened, and won't be the last. Jones however turned one problem into another by flirting with the idea he was gonna make it right later on and never carried it out.

In the end, Jones was a salesman with no product.

Jones has to be bipolar. He is so off with his multiple personalities
