I didn't say apologize or else. When he says eff Tennessee he becomes insignificant to me. I couldn't care less less about him. I doesn't appear he cares that much about how VOL fans feel about him either so I guess we're even.

👎🏻 I’m trying to talk about why we should be excited to have this kid at Tennessee, rather than focus on a misstep.

Think this kid will be a great player for us... any new news on where he will play, TE, OL or other?

Assuming he has read this mess and is aware of VolNation's 'outrage', it might be the best way for him. Ignore it, move on and be ready to ball when he gets here..

He really doesn't owe any of us anything...

Like I said, kid's got a lot to prove to me both on and off the field before I become a fan. He's started off on the wrong foot imo. Can he over come? Sure. Him going on social media and saying eff Tennessee and not feeling compelled to address his misstep makes me question if he will. Thrilled for you that you can overlook him disrespecting the school that just gave him an opportunity to play D1 football, in his home state. Some hold this university in higher regard.

No..what you are doing is insulting everybody that is understandably upset at this dude for being a prick towards Tennessee with his butt buddy Cade Mays.

I don't see this dude ever doing much unless as a blocking TE.

You are a nobody fan just like me... this kid just signed on to put in three times as much work as the normal college student. Do you have any idea how much work goes into being a college athlete.... not like we did him a huge favor by giving him a scholarship, he will work for it! We honestly do owe him respect for selecting UT and agreeing to sacrifice hours, body and next four years. I’ll take that as apology.

In order to apologize for something you have to aknowlege you messed up. He's not done that. You can forgive someone regardless of whether the person asked for it or not. Sounds like this is where you're at. Good for you.

Like I said, if he wants my fandom, he's got to earn it. I'm not immediately going to be a cheerleader for him, especially since the last thing I've heard him say is eff Tennessee, the team, the state he's playing for.

I'm sure it's more than a handful on a message board but I doubt he gives a shat regardless, same with me, I don't give a shat about him either.
