It's not like they waited until his senior yr to offer him. Amazing how people can be so mad that we weren't the first offer. Sound like BS hiding the fact that people recommended he play for Pittman and not mahoney

Nobody recommend that @ all. They kept stringing the kid along come watch a game, come to campus etc. Meanwhile UGA etc were offering him and making him a priority. This was before Pittman. What yawl one track guys have to understand is with all the exposure nowadays you can't afford to do this. Also with so many ppl moving here and kids not being true instate guys, kids dgaf about you when they feel that you played them and accepted or offered a lesser player who was on campus the same time as you were. They'll move on to who they feel makes them a priority. Then there is the fact that he felt the OL coach was really bad while sitting in a position meeting and the DeBorg comes in and takes over to correct things. I'm just stating facts

In Vols coaches defense, Max is a little stiff in the hips. So, we needed a little more time to see how he developed. If you want to go to the prom with the first ugly girl to ask, so be it. But, thirty years from now, when you look back at those prom photos, u regret not going with the smokin' babe who asked a bit later.

Given the vast aWray of comments up in here, there is no Wray in heck we are ever going to get another premiere OL commit from the midstate, no Wray that our coaching staff would take some of these overWrayted four stars and we are either doing Wray better or Wray worse at recruiting than the rest of VN perceives it.

Make instate a priority. Its a concept I believe I've heard suggested. Unfortunately for some reason it seems locating that diamond in the rough 3* from Ginnglethorpe WY is the focus more often than not. IDK
