Alontae Taylor definitely looks the part. He reminds me of Ted Ginn Jr. Elite speed but not so great hands.

His speed and athleticism should make up for the less than natural hands.

Yea if he has the butterfingers may try him at corner if it doesn’t pan out at WR. May be a tough pill to swallow but he sounds like a great kid.

Get the vibe he’d do what’s best for the team, especially if he sees it isn’t working out at WR.

He's too athletic not to try on offense. Just think of Ted Ginn. He's got butterfingers as well but has forged a nice NFL career. I think Alontae can have similar success.

Not necessarily. That type of thinking justifies Byrd playing WR for 2 years...but Byrd is clearly not an offensive guy by nature.

Alontae is an offensively inclined player. Just like Marsalis Teague was. Teague should have been known as a good slot WR during his career. Like Cedric Wilson.

Cedric Wilson was awesome. But...what if he had to play CB?
I don't think we'd remember in the same light.

Alontae is an offensive guy.

Never understood Teague moving to CB after showing potential at WR as a freshman.

I can absolutely attest to this, watched Marsalis all through HS, he was dynamic on offense and did play some D, just not every down. Was recruited to play WR by Kiffin (listed as Ath), and had he stayed there, would've had a legit shot at the next level as a slot wr imo...but I'm a bit biased. I digress, looking forward to seeing Alontae on O!
