Yea if he has the butterfingers may try him at corner if it doesnt pan out at WR. May be a tough pill to swallow but he sounds like a great kid.
He's too athletic not to try on offense. Just think of Ted Ginn. He's got butterfingers as well but has forged a nice NFL career. I think Alontae can have similar success.
Not necessarily. That type of thinking justifies Byrd playing WR for 2 years...but Byrd is clearly not an offensive guy by nature.
Alontae is an offensively inclined player. Just like Marsalis Teague was. Teague should have been known as a good slot WR during his career. Like Cedric Wilson.
Cedric Wilson was awesome. But...what if he had to play CB?
