Dabo has done it the best. He's hands off of both roles completely and it's gotten him a natty. Can't argue with his success.

people every coach in America has a fool or 2 on their resume. Guys if social media existed during the UT championship run we'd definitely be in even worse shape to date. Guys like Hernandez are guys who are crazy and play with a chip on their shoulders and are leaders on the field who others follow. Its very unfortunate these behaviors rolled over into his real personal life but he was a great player. Hell Alabama had a guy selling cocaine out of their football facilty, we have Janzen and others who did the Pilot incident, and so on. You never know a kids true character until it comes out, and who knows when that will be. I've met CUM but don't particularly like what I heard him say to a player I trained in reference to who he could be similar too. The thing is all that means nothing to the kids because all they want is a chance to win a NC and play on Sundays. Right now besides Saban and Bama or Dabo and Clemson, no one on this planet can sell that other than CUM

yep and he's bigger, slower, and way less athletic than Percy. Hell Percy might be one of the best athletes beside Mike Vick, AI, Ronald Curry, etc to come out of the Tidewater/ Hampton Roads area of Va. Hard to duplicate Percy on or off the field.

Not sure if serious but CUM is an offensive guy, and his offense though modified at times is his offense. All the laid a goose egg stuff is laughable because 1 thing fo sure he's where we want to be whether putting up 0 or 50 points.

Doesn't matter who it was under or none of that because Hernandez didn't kill anyine while playing at Fla. All we were saying is that it goes on everywhere just different magnitudes. BUT since you want to point fingers like that Janzen killed his mom boyfriend he's a killer too. LL killed a lady drunk driving. So jist stop all that. Its silly

Like i sais before outside of Bama/Saban the SEC is very average with a bunch of hs coaches who are running avg programs. tOSU would probably hv 1 tough game if they played UT schedule and that's Alabama

As average as a coach Butch is, he'd pretty much go 10-2 every year in the Big 10. Every Big 10 team that Butch has faced in a bowl game, got destroyed. JS.

The SEC is not very average. It's not up to it's usual level currently, I agree. But , when suburban left, it was without a doubt the toughest conference when he was at Florida. He ran like a scared little field mouse. He knew he would never win another championship, conference or national at Florida. He took the easy way out.

Not obsessed at all just get tired of all the bias Butchna. Ppl still screaming SEC when its an avg league now with 1 great team. Ppl saying CBJ would win the BIG10 is a joke. Neither Vandy nor USCe could win the BIG10. He wouldn't beat Penn st, Mich, Mich St, or tOSU. This is crazy that ppl continue to think the conference still reign supreme, and its just not true. Its Alabama and the rest. A bunch of 8-4, 7-5, 6-6 teams. Amd before its said I'm not saying others are much better but the playing field is leveling off real fast. ACC and BIG10 hv gained a lot of ground

On the surface it's hard to argue your point, but the NFL draft definitively says the SEC still has the most talent - which kind of makes it the toughest league by default.

I've told him the same, but he's under the impression that if the SEC isn't the unstoppable juggernaut that it was from 2006-15, then it is just "meh". He seems to believe that there is no in between.

The fact is, the SEC from that period created a profile that was impossible to maintain over time. Like all things, that reign was cyclical. The "drop-off" doesn't relegate them to "average" status like De1 is implying.

Urban has yet to have a good offense without Mullen or Herman. That's part of being a great coach though is hiring great coaches. Last year team made it it playoffs because of an elite defense. That being said the offense will be called better under Wilson. I assume they will have the talent but I don't follow their roster. Just know Wilson is a very good offensive coach
