'18 TN WR Tykee Kellogg

Yes sirs, we will get this kid. Hopefully, Rock will set up a workout plan for him and he can get an early start on gaining muscle to his body. I love those 6'5 or so WRs

Going to hold off just a little bit, but wouldn't be surprised to see something within the next couple weeks. Was told this one is pretty much in the bag, unless something crazy happens.

No offense, but so much salt with these posts these days.

Reads exactly like the Higgins thread

Not you... Just how similar in every way

Well the problem with Higgins is he had everyone fooled. Our staff his teammates and friends all thought he was a Vol. His decision shocked everyone. My cousin who played for Oak Ridge even told me two or three days before he was certain he was a Vol. Now this is just my opinion but I think with all of these new coaches on our staff they are not pushing kids to commit as fast. Instead they are letting the players get to know the coaches and are going to be more selective on who they let commit early.

"It was amazing," Kellogg said. "I loved the experience and everything about it was great. Hopefully I can be back for another experience about it. I just loved how the coaches were interactive and how they were talking more about the team and how they were talking more about you growing as a person."

The reigning class 3A Mr. Football has seen his relationship with Tennessee coaches grow recently. That's only natural, but he also just likes how they sell their program.

"I talk to coach Azzanni a lot," Kellogg said. "I talk to coach Butch (Jones). They were just talking to me about my family and everything. I loved the hype videos. They just hit me with a feeling. "Them being able to push people. Just when you see the NFL players from here."

"Yeah (they lead)," Kellogg said. "Something today pushed them. I'm just waiting to see if I get any more offers. I'm going to take some visits and see if my heart changes, but as of right now, UT is it. "They are the hometown school and are close to my family. Just all my friends telling me to come here has been growing on me."

That is pretty much the equivalent of a commitment nowadays..

Was hoping he would pull the trigger this weekend but these comments from him pretty much sum it all up anyway. He will be a Vol.

Two CB's for the Vols this morning

That's Grrrrrrrrreat!

Something today pushed them. I'm just waiting to see if I get any more offers. I'm going to take some visits and see if my heart changes, but as of right now, UT is it. "They are the hometown school and are close to my family. Just all my friends telling me to come here has been growing on me."

Does this sound like he's wanting bigger offers? It doesn't get bigger than an offer from UT if you are from Tn.

Tennessee now leads for Top247 wide receiver Tykee Ogle-Kellogg of nearby Alcoa (Tenn.) High School after extending a scholarship offer to him less than a month ago. Saturday’s visit clearly made an impression on him, and he admitted he now could see himself making his college decision a bit sooner than expected. Ogle-Kellogg’s stock still is rising, with Ole Miss and Missouri also having extended offers to him within the past three weeks. But if the Vols can continue to build on their recent momentum with him, it’s not a stretch to envision them landing him as early as this spring.

More crystal balls coming in for Kellogg. I think this guy is going to be a high 4 star by signing day. Glad he seems to be leaning our way

I'm saying it right now for Kellogg. He will most definitely be a high 4* come NSD 2018 or before. That's barring any injuries for him.
