For the JG sunshine pumpers that still lurk in this thread.I know you all rave about his 32 Touchdowns he’s thrown which is cool but I just wanted to mention he’s played 34 games in his Career here at Tennessee. You do the math![]()
I personally prefer the D4H eyetest.I’ve tried and tried to tell you to stop with the math/stats. They make your stance looks foolish.
Just say JG doesn’t have “it”. No feel in the pocket, gets sacked too much, fumbles too much and can’t get out of his head many times. That kind of talk doesn’t get made look foolish.
Andy Kelly
40 games
36 TDS
38 INTs
Tee Martin
38 games
32 TDs
16 INTs
JG
34 games
32 TDs
13 INTs
So really STFU about stats because when you mention them your stance looks foolish. Try the other angle I have been trying to teach you about. It has some validity.
And from the the recent video, the physique of Ben Roethlisberger.I personally prefer the D4H eyetest.
Have you looked into the eyes of JG? I have and I see the fire of Kobe, the calm of Tom Brady, the biceps of Hercules and the core-strength and willpower of @nicksjuzunk
From everything I understand, JT has 3 yrs eligibility remaining.... that not right? On top of that, if he were to have a good enough year to leave for the pros after one season as a redshirt sophomore, no harm done to the young guys there, probably just saved us from another year of watching Guarantano out there, as well as having a good enough single season to warrant NFL attention, AND if he stays more than one year and he's still winning starting job at that time, those young guys probably weren't the answer anyways, but that's just my opinion, I guess all I'm saying is if taking this kid changes the outcome of them trotting No. 2 back out there under center game 1 of the season then I'm all for itSo you have a likely 3 to 4 yr starter and you want to savage that for a short term starter, and also stunt the growth of the young talented qbs. Yeah I get it see let’s not develop let’s accept the the transfer and then they’ll say hey they don’t want to develop you and will likely to a transfer and bump you back at UT. QB recruiting is different and way more fragile than most other positions. At some point you hv to develop and more the kids you recruit as true freshman
agree here, especially about the view of our current QB room. i'm not sold he's definitley coming here, but count me in the camp that says we should try....I don’t think he will come here anyway. Seems like more competition here than say LSU.
I think not having a spring really hurt our view on QB room to sort out if Jg was taking next step and how were Bailey/Holiday compared to Maurer/Shrout.
it is what helps make this intriguing...We do have a little ace in the hole with JTD his name is Tee Martin.
